Remember that crime can happen anywhere.

Thieves are opportunistic and lazy, so they will find the easiest target to steal from.

People get complacent in their local leafy northshore area, untill something nasty happens.

Be vigilant everywhere and if it feels bad/wrong then it usually is.

I alsways watch my mirrors and make sure I am not being followed and always look around before I go to my car.

So depressing reading about this sort of stuff.. the people responsible for such low acts seem to never get caught either...

its called karma one day it'll catch up to them and f*ck em up twice as hard

i just shits me to think that ppl are out there doing this regularly like we just go to work regularly, one day they'll try to heist the wrong car and snap!!!

Far out whats going on these days...I live in marsfield just down the road from Mac Shopping Centre where the Uni housing is and i park my car at the shopping centre everyday if i need to go to the shops and for work and ive never had any problems

Just shows how sometimes you can just be plain lucky and not be unfortunate enough to experience things like that

Sorry to hear bout what happened hope they catch the f**kwits they deserve a nice old fashioned phone book interrogation

man this is f**ked... i work for ericsson on talavera rd, in the sanyo building. i keep hearing these stories but iv never seen anything. this really sucks coz ireally dont want to be parking my car there now.

i have heard the stories of people being stabbed at killara and lindfield stations although never witnessed it myself ....most of this crime occurs around the stations themselves. I go to macquarie park / centre all the time, night and day and never seen anything. Never had anything done to my car. I can imagine there are filthy hobos out there in the area as there is alot of cheaper housing compared to some of the surrounding areas. Should be interesting how the train line affects all this ?

Ooooh forget about it....when that train line opens my first act is to move the hell away from this area because its going to be ridiculous...crime is going to go through the roof

Either that or if someone is nice enough to drive a truck down the entrance that would help a lot as well :)

Any volunteers

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
