My break in....

Well some may or may not know i have a 79 rolla as a daily beast. I was stolen twice before i bought it so it can be opened with near on anything thats hard lol.

Last night someone broke into it, i noticed when i hopped in it for work today and the mirror had been moved, the ash tray was open, things like a rug had been moved in the back. There is even a crappy cd head unit sitting in the back, even that had been moved. But funnily enough nothing was taken (not thats theres much to take).

But...the funniest part of all is that the person/s that broke into it locked it up when they were done.

I wasnt really suprised that it had been broken into, or hadnt been broken into earlier. I actually had a great laugh about. Just thought i would share my little experience with you.

I can beat that

I discovered at 5:30am one morning that someone had stolen the steering wheel off my standard R31 GXE (wtfbbq!?!?). I had to catch the bus to work

Found out about a week later that the theives had used it to steal a hella modified R31 that lived up the street, that had a steering lock on the wheel that they couldn't get off.

next time you go to the pub and pick up some fat chick because you couldn't see with your beer goggles... don't make out with her in your car, take her inside your house. And don't drive home under the influence.

this morning about 330am i got woken up by the alarm going off!!! half asleep i woke kye up pushing him outta bed he thought i meant his alarm clock haha but no it was his pager beeping and buzzing and you could hear the alarm like it was next to my head so loud.

walked out side in my pjamas and kye in his boxers hoping to bust them in the act but no-one was there.

This morning i got a phone call to tell me the paper delivery guy is sorry if he woke any one up when he hit kyes car with the paper grrrrr.....

at least it wasnt some little punks i dont think kye could have controlled himself if he caught them breaking in to either car.

    • That looks good, but I think you're going to need much beefier side skirts now.
    • They are daft and there's a reason it never caught on. Steering feel? We don't need no stinking steering feel!
    • I gotta pull you up on this. It's driving me crazy. A shutter is something that closes, like over a window or in a cmera. The word you want is shudder. That LSD is clearly f**ked. Take it to a diff shop and get it disassembled and examined by an expert. YOu might have plates welded together or something equally crazy.
    • Define "starting to fail". Wy not just rebuild them?
    • Check the Nistune doco. There are a few assumptions being made here that might not be valid. I will list the things that occur to me: Base map. Base map for what? Base map for Z32? Then the cranking pulse width is probably wrong for an RB25. The extra 500cc of capacity might well be enough to prevent it from catching. Base map for RB25? I don't think you can load one of those into a Z32. You have to just make the settings correct for an RB25 in the Z32 base map. That is either K or the TIM to get the pulsewidth right. Loom. You bought a loom for an RB. And you plugged it into a Z32 ECU. Did you make sure that any iwre differences were swapped. From memory, there's at least a couple. And as per the others, I would suggest making sure that the fuel pressure is correct while cranking and that the injectors are actually flowing as expected. They really must come out and go on the bench, unless you do find that you have messed up as per above points. I would also suggest watching in Nistune to make sure that everything is reading correctly. That the correct binary flags are raised at the right time (like the crank signal), that there's no stupid values in K or TIM. That you have not got mismatched firmware for the ECU and/or a wrong image loaded.
