Mines Ecu's

hey guys, well i got a Mines tuned ECU, supposed to be already tuned for my setup (came with the turbo kit and all).

anyone using the mines ECU's?? some say 'cr*p' others say 'fine'...

turbo il be running is a gt2876R. with all supporting mods, i was thinkin of either this ecu or just gettin a Emanage ultimate... as i dont have the money for a full microtech/wolf/link etc.

It has been said many times, using a Mine's pretuned ECU is not a great idea because of the higher octane fuel the car was tuned for in Japan. It may cause detonation with the lower octane fuel here in Aus.

Emanage is definitely a much better (safer) option.

Throw it on eBay and you'll get a pretty good price for them. Seen quite a few people trying to get mines ecu's because it's 'Mines'.

i bought a gtr with one and got it swapped for a pfc....gonna flog it on ebay. pretuned just doesnt sit with me. too many things are different, let alone the additional mods u may have....
