rb25 front cut for 3.5/4k will give you all teh parts you need

buy a r34 turbo $450~ high flow 1.5k~

will support your power goals ez and it will bolt right up to the 25 engine

a cheaper KKR 480 will also net you your power goals $800? i think but you will need a custom dump $170

or $2.2k for a GT-RS also a bolt on affair but more pricey with a bonus HKS badge

These are the best "bolt on" options.. without changing manifolds/water/oil lines etc

your power goals only 350rwhp thats a overkill for a forged engine save your money and if the 25 pops then think about rebuilding

or if you have to much money go the GT35r + RB30DET will be enuff to scare a dead man

also take into consideration tractions :)

What other mods will i need for the rb25 to get my 350rwhp?

I plan on running it from my rb20 ecu so i can use nistune to tune it will get a seperate vct controller.

I know I need the turbo. 3" turbo back system

Probably fuel pump. Will injectors be needed?

Will the afm run out of scope?

POD/Cold Air Intake

Turbo back exhaust 3"

FMIC

Full Computer (Power FC ftw!!)

Fuel Pump

Boost Gauge

Electrnic Boost controller or Turbo Tech manual bleed valve if your really tight

Turbo >___< hi flow 34 turbo or a GT SS/RS?

clutch may be due soon, injectors are maxing out and you may want cams to reduce lag

i dont think the KKR 480 will support 350rwhp without a shit heap of lag (4.5rpm+)

hi-flow 34 turbo gets my vote...

theres a sticky thread in the force induction section about what turbo making what powe with what mods..

check it out, awesome read

how much you wanting for the rb26?

If its around 3k i'll sign up now

WHat about an rb30et found one with forged pistons for 1200

It wont be 3k. Will be looking for around 4k. Turbos were bought new from greenline and have done around 2000kms probably less. Also has a 9-puk cushioned clutch that's done around 8000kms.

    • You'd want to cap off the re-entry back into the dump too. Just something flat that can be held on by the Vband.
    • Thanks for the recap Matt Z. It was a great day out and I know you have said it already, but we couldn’t have done it without the volunteers.
    • Couldn't agree anymore, massive thanks to all that came by, helped out, or those who just wanted to talk cars. You are the community that make this such a great car club. cant wait for what we have planned for the future
    • Looking at the photos, you could easily just drop this pipe and dump into atmosphere  Just 1 or 2 quick hits for data acquisition - if have a heat shield material and/or sheet metal, maybe just use wire/metal cable ties and attach it in a way to deflect heat from melting nearby wires.
