New Fuel Pump

just got a new fuel pump the walboro 500hp one, just wondering if i'll notice anything power wise, its an rb20det everything stock except for an EBC

It won't add any more power. Your injectors and pressure regulator will still flow the same amount as they're set to by default.

so even when i get my injectors i won't feel the power till i get a tune

Fuel pumps provide fuel, thats it.

How the fuel is used/power gained is controlled by the ECU/Turbo/boost etc.

Fuel pumps dont make power, the simply provide the means to make power.

You could put a 1000hp pump in there, wont make a difference

fuel pump and injectors arnt suppose to give u power,

they are a supporting mod so eg.. you upgrade your tubo and wound more boost into it, the new injectors and pump can supply sufficent fuel to your motor

where as i think your stock one will max out at 170kw

Crap! I was planning on getting a bosch fuel pump...thought it was gonna be good for my stock turbo/ECU setup, guess it's just gonna have to be part of the plan leading up to a proper dyno run+ECU tune.

yeah i just purchased a walboro pump from slide..

just for engine safety, where im only make like 180rkw atm with pretty much stockies..

oh, and you can't tune the stock ECU unless you visit one of the R32 Stock ECU tuners - I think there is about 2 in australia.

You can't just rock up to any dyno operator and say "tune my ECU thanks" and come out with 1000hp.

They'll see you coming and take your money..
