hhmmm interesting news... sis was at kirrawee and talked to another owner/victim of a black R-32 gts-t m spec

Yidz had posted the theft for him, as the posts went along there was a reply from the thieves,

they bragged about the clutch slipping, that it wasnt going that hard and that it would go harder once his cousin put on his T88, then that it was on its way to QLD, then said if they had posted earlier they couldve worked something out (ransom).

this is about the 5th skyline that has been stolen from owners in the area (shire) in the last month.

:D link?

Its a forum u cant track jack..

Moving along, I suggest people living somewhere which have there Location in the details of the forum remove them to prevent tracking if you sell something or so on.

And for god sakes buy a damn good alarm, its obvious they keep hitting alarmless cars and we all know how easy it is to access a Skyline, thanks to the stupid button on the side panel in our cars. Tell the installer to rewire this btw, so its only active when the key is in accessory mode.

Moving along, best alarm you can find (i dont care if you can afford it or not)

In this case its a little different and I feel extremely sorry for your sis. all the best in finding it. btw from the last string of cars being found they seem to wind up in bankstown with parts missing. I would suggest a drive around the suburb. prob contact the cops of the area and ask for car dump spots to check, train stations and so on.

Ill keep an eye out this way too. Cheers

There's been plenty of it going on lately around the area. The thing is, I don't know of one of the cars I have heard being stolen having an alarm and/or insurance so they are leaving themselves open to any person who wants to do this kind of thing.

That thread was interesting as it seemed pretty legit that this was the guy. Anyway, I didn't want to get involved in any of it and just posted it up generally for my mate.

Hense why I have taken everything of mine off of here...

Anyway back on topic. Sucks about the R34 mate. Looks like a tidy ride. Lets just hope all the insurance goes through all good. Good luck with it :P

Talking to Justjap today when I told them someone broke into my ride and found out it has a supersonic alarm to deter them.. Anyways the informed me about 10-12 skylines in the last month have been nicked. alot in sutho.

Real shame really!!

Ditto - if I HAVE to park in a shopping centre I generally remove the steering wheel and take it with me (quick release steering wheel hub)... I have a small momo wheel, and I always carry a backpack in the car.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
