Hey guys, im fairly new here.

just bought a 32 4door, heaps happy with it. Just needs a bit of love.

Anyhoo, just wondering. when trying to fit a standard front bar to a 32 with a cooler is there any tricks or things to do? I ask coz when i bought the car it came with a second front bar (first one was hacked to bits) second one wasn't it that much better con. I found that i have to cut a LOT out to get it to fit on, especially where the two side vents are, where the bottom silicon hoses join to the cooler.

I have seen a few 32 one here with coolers and their bars don't look like they have been cut around those areas. Maybe i need to mount mine different?

Any help is appreciated

Cheers, josh

Welcome josh, I recently fitted an intercooler to a mates 32 but he had the GTR front on it so it may be a bit different. We had to cut a fair amount to clear the piping on either end of the cooler but if ya take ya time and work out the right amount to cut out then you can make it look neat. Just a matter of not cutting too much out and following the contour of the pipes.

SLED, out of curiosity, what ECU are you using and what made you choose Martin Donnan?

got something interesting in the mail today, a 'certificate of exemption' and a south australia vehicle identification plate for the celsior.

anyone feel like clearing up exactly what a certificate of exemption is? lol

How many squids for window tint if you dont mind me asking? need some 20% all round for the 31....
yeah right. Bit pricier than what I was hoping for....

Well im getting my alarm fitted for $395 and he is doing my tint which is 20% for $220, So i dont know if its cheaper cos im getting both done, but Ric is a top guy, so definatly ring him up and say your Steves mate from SAU :) I'm sure he would be lovin all this extra work that wasnt part of the group buy........

I think because it was prob imported with that 15 year rule thingo, it prob didnt have to be complied like normal, so hence the "exemption" and the SA Vehicle Identification saying its all good.........

Thats what i read from it, but might be wrong!!

Iron Chef would know when he rocks in here next!!

Hey Ryan, I'm running a PFC.

Using Donan because he's possibly one of the best PFC tuners in the country, Jeff is another guy I would recommend .

Check what the guys interstate have to say about them http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ke...43#entry3617443

I've heard stories about Martin that if you don't know him he doesn't give you his best.....can't really comment whether thats true or not but I know Pete Hall (other 1/2 of Willall Racing) pretty well and he has had a chat to Martin about me so hence the reason I'm going there.

Here is a link to my specs http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...html&st=120 (scroll down the page)

hehe..yea thats what i had heard, you pretty much said everything. Its a shame peter doesn't work with willall anymore. I think im definetly going with Jeff for my PFC tune. cheers for the info :P

Pete is fisher performance AWD dyno and did they tune if for you

Only a 2WD but you can always drop your centre shaft.

I have realized that just because someone has a dyno, doesn't make them a tuner....read what you like into this but if you want further clarification I'll speak to you at Chalkers Sat night.

Yeah Martin had a quick look and drive of my car this arvo and as I suspected, its a bit of a mess.

I'll probably get Jeff to do mine as well because it needs to be re initialized and started from the begining, plus Jeff is just around the corner.

totally agree... my mate Michael and I are slowly learning on his dyno, finding many different procedures, ALOT of trial and error, managed some very good power with a very safe tune so far...mainly working with PFC's and Microtech, still waiting on my PC interface for PFC however.....but yea many procedures, safe guards to learn....alot of tricks and ways of not doing things are involved....takes hours and hours of playing with and with the right people.

Did you get your software from Access Autoworks on Ebay

Me? nah, was too busy trying to get the R31 to even run. :P

I f**king hate the RB coilpack setup. Im going forward facing plenum and EA falcon coilpack, simply so I dont have to f**k around with it anymore.

Great make shift funnel when you cut the bottom of it off. This may work for your Corolla.   Unfortunately, tipping a 10L drum is much harder than a 4 to 6L bottle, and they no longer include the easy pour tap which was just perfection to use previously.
    • Guys since i bought r33 gts25t coupe 1994 automatic a/t(manual swap 350z gearbox)  all i got is problems, always problems. Lets start with that when i turn key into ignition(ON) fuel pump doesnt always works. Sometimes i have to turn key twice Off/on/off/on until it primes. Its new, dw300 - 340lph. My gearbox broke so i did gearbox swap, install different intake manifold, injectors and i take pipes. Car was sitting in garage for more than half a year. I did assembly all not that long ago and when i turn ignition cant hear prime. All of sudden it stopped working. Theres many videos on YouTube how to make relay mod on r33 straight from battery so i did and it doesnt work! 😰 30 - battery positive  87 - positive from fuel pump to relay 85, 86 - one of two wires from original fuel pump wires(light blue, grey) and it didn’t work. so I check on ignition and took original BLUE relays wires from trunk, next to fuses. (I believe it’s IGN+ and ECU pin 18. it didn’t work…  tried connecting (IGN+ from og relay) and (ECU 104 from 1of4 FPCM wires) to my new relay 85/86 and it didn’t work.  I unplug FPCM. Didn’t work. im thinking what’s wrong   fuel pump is working, if I leave IGN+ on 85 and 86 straight to ground it works but it’s just nonstop. Since it getting constant 12v after key in ON. light blue wire gives me 6-8v.  so how this should be connected? What causing ECU not giving — on pin? Or I did sth wrong and that’s why it doesn’t work? I need negative signal on ECU that control fuel pump. What this should be?
