i went for a hills run last night in the 31 with the roads very slippery.....was much fun. Had to bed in the bottom end bearings so yea..took it for a strap.

Dam straight Damo would rather do SAU them heroin gts4 are 4.1 because they share the same parts from the gtr i think r32 gtst is 4.3 because of the lack of torque from the rb20

pretty sure your going to need gtr headlights dude
see im not that dumb i was right

you may get away with headlight spacers to bring the original one's forward, i know that's what you can do with R33 > GTR conversion

Kell, before I met Tracy, I dated a 25yo for about 2 months. We got along real well, or so I thought. She started going cold ... like had no time to see me. I go over there and demand an explanation, she hands me a note. The contents were unclear and bs anyway, so I just left. If its no good, its no good. I had my suspicion she deveoped an interest in someone else. Im not stupid. I told her my theory and at first she didn't deny it ... guess she didnt think I was smart enough to catch on quick.

Anyways, goes to show guys get the screw around too ... good thing is I have Tracy now :P

gonna work the crap out of my RB25DE for now

suggestions for getting some more power out of my N/A ?

im thinkin something like

Port and polish

oversized valves

cams

gasket ?

worst thing i did was spend money on the 20!

True. By the time you work the DE, you could have fit in a DET and sold the DE and make some money back!

dont bother. huge amounts of coin for very little tangible difference. like i said on that cruise the other week up in lofty, either harden and get a DET, or strap a vortech (or even a commo v6 roots type) and a W2A intercooler to the DE with a flashed ecu.

Ok this may just be me, but is anyone else's post times going all over the shop?

Like just then on the main page it said the last post in this thread was at 1:03 (ie hasn't updated to daylight savings time) but when I go into the thread the same post reads as being posted at 2:03 (the correct daylight savings time)

Like I said, may just be me absolutely tripping balls.

there all not cheap, hang onto your coin save save save and before you know it throw a RS4 engine in it and you will be ever so please you waited and not wasted 2.5k on worthless mods to make a make of 40-50kw

      Time will tell, they're doing all the admin stuff at the moment. I've submitted all the required details, photos, etc.   I was under the impression that DC coupling is the best approach, i.e.: Solar Array -> Battery Invertor -> Battery  Where as AC Coupling is simpler, however less efficient, i.e.: Solar Array -> Solar Invertor -> Battery Invertor -> Battery

      The price is really great for that kind of capacity. I thought similar setups cost way more. How's your efficiency been with the DC-coupling? I've heard sometimes there can be a bit of a performance loss.

      Long time no random post about shit. So I went down this deep deep rabbit hole of battery storage for the home, ended up locking in a 41.9kWh Fox ESS EQ4800 with 9 units stacked. Battery uses Lithium Iron Phosphate, similar to what you find in those deep cycle boat/caravan batteries. And yes, why did I go with a cheapie brand and not like Synergy? simply because I don't plan to stay at this house for more than another 3~5 years.  The entire install, DC coupling (removal of existing invertor, connecting the current 6.6kW array direct to the battery invertor), new 8kW invertor is $6K all up (after all the rebates etc.). Going with this lot: https://www.aussiesolarbatteries.com.au/ It did seem a bit too good to be true, however seems like the Whirlpool community has vetted it and when it comes to this kind of stuff, they seem to be all over it: https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/thread/9pxj8482?p=38   I've requested for the battery to be installed outside, next to my meter board and not inside - rather have it combust and ignite outside lol.

      In Vic it would be a defect regardless of whether or not you cut a hole in the sheetmetal for the return pipe. The rules in Vic are shitful, and are generally interpreted as you can "make 2 mods to the intake system". Putting an FFP and an FMI onto it will almost certainly be seen as some huge number of intake mods. You really need to speak to an engineer before doing this stuff in VIC.
