"Man who allegedly blew 0.42 at Christies Beach freed on bail"

Reporter: Ernest, will you ever drive again?

Ernest: "Maybe if im drunk"

ROFLWAFFLES

He stumbled out of the cop shop, had no idea where he was or how to get home. The admin people at the cop shop bought him maccas and called him a taxi.

My mum said hes a regular customer at her bank branch, and his lip isn't red "from a fight last week", its always red, ALLEGEDLY from drinking metho.

yep you summed it up perfectly Rhys.

It is such a shame that the massive Labor scaremongering campaign (to use Ben's word) worked on the stupid Aus public so well. Their assertions (always backed up by the media) that Howard would retire during his next term put a massive scare in the populous. For a reason I cannot fathom a lot of people don't like Costello, as they think he smirks too much and has shifty eyes - but have you had a look at the duchebag they voted in instead? Always with a stupid grin on his face.

I firmly believe had Howard stepped down a year before the election and let Costello hold the reins for a while, Costello would have easily won people over, and they would have won easily. Let's face it, Costello has had a huge hand in running the country for the past decade anyhow, and his ideals are firmly in-line with all the awesome work Howard did to bring us into the 21st century.

Now we have 2 clowns that wander around smacking heads, trying desperately to figure out how to run things. And giving away some free cash to put the country out of a $5bn surplus into a $40bn debt within 18 months is the best they can come up with? Sheesh. We are in for a very shitty next few years - mark my words.

What have they really achieved since coming into power Ben?

How is that 'laptop for every child' promise going? How is the national Broadband network going? How are cheaper grocery prices going? How is the 'fuel watch' program going? Need I say more?

thats exactly it, kevin wants a legacy......... he's gonna get it, the worst recession in the history of this great country. cheers all the dickheads who voted him in

lulz

Reporter: "What were you driving to the shops to buy?"

Ernest: "Food... and grog"

See in the vid when he walks out and theres media everywhere, hes like wtf? Deer in headlights doesn't even describe it accurately, need to see to believe!

thinking about changing to one of these

Mitsubishi-Lancer-Evolution-VI-TME-AYhR.jpg

Yet another special edition Evolution VI was also released in 1999: the Tommi Makinen Edition, named after Finnish rally driver Tommi Makinen that had won Mitsubishi four WRC drivers championships. It featured a different front bumper, Red/Black Recaro seats (with embossed T. Makinen logo), 17" ENKEI white wheels, a leather MOMO steering wheel and shift knob, a titanium turbine that spooled up quicker, front upper strut brace, lowered ride height (with tarmac stages in mind), and a quicker steering ratio. Amongst other colours, the Evo VI came in an exclusive shade of red with special decals, replicating Tommi Makinen's rally car's colour scheme. This car is also sometimes referred to as an Evolution 6½, Evolution 6.5, or TME for short.

    • I appreciate the detailed explanation, think I understand now. I spent the better part of last night reading what I could about shuffle and potential solutions. I had replaced the OEM twin turbo pipe with an alternate Y pipe that is separated further away from the turbo. The current one is from HKS and I had a previous pipe that was separated even further away, both have shuffle. I had heard that a divider can be welded in to the OEM pipe to remove turbulence, and figure that aftermarket pipes that are more separated would achieve the same thing. From what I read, most people with -10 turbos get shuffle due to their size, though it's a bit less common with -5s on a standard RB26. I think Nismoid mentioned somewhere it's because OEM recirculation piping is common in Australia with -5 cars. It seems that the recommendation tends to vary between a few options, which I've ordered in what I think is most feasible for me:  1. Retune the MAP or boost controller to try to eliminate shuffle 2. Install OEM recirculation piping 3. Something called a 'balance pipe' welded onto the exhaust manifolds. I don't know if kits for this are available, seems like pure fabrication work 4. simply go single turbo My current layout is as follows: Garrett 2860 -5s HKS Racing Suction intake MAF delete pipes HKS racing chamber intake piping hard intercooler piping,  ARC intercooler HKS SSQV BOV and pipe Haltech 2500 elite ECU and boost solenoid/controller HPI dump pipes OEM exhaust manifolds HKS VCAM step 1 and supporting head modifications Built 2.6 bottom end All OEM recirculation piping was removed, relevant areas sealed off I'll keep an eye out for any alternative solutions but can get started with this.  Only other question is, does shuffle harm the turbo (or anything else)? It seems like some people say your turbo shafts will explode because of the opposing forces after a while and others say they just live with it and adjust their pedal foot accordingly.
    • That worked out PERFECTLY! Thank you big time to JJ. He was able to swap me his stock diff. He drove all the way to me as well. Killer! Removal & install was pretty straightforward. The diff itself is HEAVY. So that’s a 2 man job.  Man does the car drive nice now! Couldn’t have worked out any better 👌
    • I'm interested,do you still have it?
