hey people......

Well i have A stock R33 with these basic mods.

FMIC,

3inch turbo back,

bosted to 12psi on the switch, 7 without.

Pod filter with UAS air box

Turbo smart BOV type 2

Extreme button clutch

S AFC = coming soon

Now i want to advance Timing what do you guys reckon it should be set to

and what have set yours too?

Base timing should be left at the factory 15degrees and a tune should then be done to alter any timing settings under full load...

Na seriously Im going to wack on the s-afc and then get them to fix that .. Humm maybe cause my exhaust is so big :S

i'm not sure how an safc is going to what you want it to do, unless they have changed and now they timing but as far as i knew you could only change air flow meter signal, so to change timing you would be changing base timing anyway.

+1. safc cant change timing, only an air flow signal bender.

Yep, SAFC doesn't alter the timing directly. They will have to manually change it.

by bending the afm signal, it affects load axis placement, which in turn affects timing

so it does adjust the timing just not directly
