the place theyre cruising to is called 'The Entrance', its up near Gosford.

Gosford....that 's farrr, not going there on a friday nite, but will come for the meet up and cruze little bit.

Joe , are u coming?

I know where you live!!! haha you launched it past me the other day in KL!

Legends, love it should be tops

Look heaps deep red, and the rings are solid all the way around, not a huge huge dif but Id still do it, coz im fussy! Im goin back for the blinkers lol they look shithouse now!

I hit him up to hook me up on the price though this time and hes keen Let us know if you want some.

Nick, I will meet u at KP Maccas at around 7:30 and cruise from there if u want?

Ok, the meet up was great but everyhting after that pretty much went south.

A little tip guys, If half the cruise gets stopped at the lights, you usually wait for them to catch up instead of driving off. apart from that, there were some really cool people at the meet up that I hope will be at the wollongong cruise. To those poeple, see ya on sunday.

I would have to say I was disappointed in this cruise then again you can't expect much from cruises like this.

The meet up started out alright but as everyone left this is when it went down hill. (Joy had the right idea of going home). The route of the cruise wasn't clear to a lot of people. I saw a lot of dangerous moves made by a couple of people but most not on our forums. Too much speeding by people with restricted licenses and no one waited for people left behind at the lights. These type of cruises belong to clubs like boost cruising.

This is one of the reasons why I do not come to these type of organised cruises.

I agree... It was a great meet up but then turned sour... I waited at the lights after the M4 turning onto great western highway and no one waited for the rest of us.... We had no idea which route everyone was taking...!

hi, im fairly new here, but went down past the meet yesterday.

alot of nice cars at the meet :P , couldnt stay to meet people here, maybe next time i can meet a few hey.

i was just wondering tho, where did the drive end up taking everyone?

was it still to .. gosford//entrance?

Hey mate, we realise it did get a bit messy as we got onto the M4, people were trying to get ahead of us, when really they didnt know where they were going! Agreed, good bunch of people, regardless. See you soon!

Yes we probably could have been a little clearer in terms of our route to the Pacific Highway, although, when there are heroes launching it ahead aimlessly, it gets a bit difficult to round everybody up. And yes there may have been a few dangerous moves, these of which I did not see, and would not condone, although we feel it is not the leader/organisers responsibilty to hold everyones hand while they are on the road making sure they dont do anything stupid, we can only advise them.

What I dont understand is why you even come to these cruises if you supposedly 'dont come' as you say, you seemed to be enjoying youself. It is acknowledged that there were a few dramas at the beginning, although for the 25 or so cars that joined us for the whole run, it was an awesome ride, which we will definatly do again.

Although this cruise was for ALL cars, if these types of cruises aren't for you, nobody pressured anybody to come and join. So please maintain only constructive comments, as comments such as "These type of cruises belong to clubs like boost cruising", are one of the many reasons why there is hostility between various clubs and forums not wanting to cruise or associate with each other, due to childish prejudice.

Hey mate, thanks for turning up, and thanks for the thumbs up. Was an awesome meet up, better than I had planned for. The drive ended up going all the way up to entrance, with no dramas, once we got up onto the road. Hope to see you another time.

I wasn't blaming the organiser, but I did not hear anyone speak up and advise everyone that they should obey the law and consider there are other people on the roads not just them.

I came as my partner and mate wanted to get out for a Sydney cruise but maybe just chose the wrong cruise. It was nice to see a couple of people I hadn't seen in a while, while I was enjoying my wine.

Firstly I will say sorry to those of you who managed to get caught up in the initial mix up, and therefore did not manage to make it to The Entrance. For those of you who did, thanx for a great night as it contained great company and nice cars.

Maybe we could have made the details of the route a bit clearer but for those of you who do not know how to get to the destination it is advised not to take off ahead of the group.

Also what I cannot understand is why people decided to leave from the meet up point, ahead of the organisers cars, and then stupidly decide to stop on the M4 potentially causing a major accident with both us but also innocent by-passers.

This has got to be the most reckless bit of driving I have seen in a while.

Again we are sorry for the inconvenience caused, but we hope to see everyone on the next cruise thats organised, and there will be a next!

Just one last point to touch on. This cruise was NOT a skylines Australia cruise as this thread was posted on several forums and therefore does not operate under their codes of conduct. All cars were welcome and as such they can not be told how to act on the road.

Great cruise while we got going and everyone was together ... .. ended up being a good night .. nice mix of cars good too see..dont know y theres so much sooking going on ..

IM waiting for the next cruise to come up and without any hereos .. u know who u r haha

    • What 1.5 way? There's no such thing really as a 1.5 way, just different ways of explaining 2 ways with different ramp rates. HOWEVER. In any driving in a straight line your 1.5 or 2 or 1.7 way should have no clunking at all. With the clutch fully depressed the diff should be silent (unless it's welded but I'm assuming it's not). Something aint right here.
    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
