I have a set of STI seats ment for my RS liberty but i will be getting rid of it. How hard would it be to modify them to fit an r33?

I assume it would be quite challenging.....

Is there a plase i could possibly swap them for a set of recaros or a bride seat??

Regards,

Andrew

hi...

in regards to the STI seats you have there, i was just wondering if you do not plan to use them and do sell them.. i might have an interested buyer.

depending on what year model they came from, and the condition, how much would you offer?

//...also if you do plan to put them in the r33, im assuming all you would need to modify the seat rails to suit the STI seats.. or modify the seats to suit your 33 rails.

( please correct me if im wrong as i am not 100% )

The question is - why would you?

EXACTLY!!

If they are the same as standard WRX seats, I HATE them. They get so uncomfortable on a long drive (anything over 1 -2 hours). I don't know about GTR seats, but standard GTST seats are much more comfortable. I can do Bris to Syd with only fuel stops in the GTST with little to no discomfort, whereas in the WRX my arse and hamstrings are hurting after about 200k's.

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
