i have a silver top RB20 in my car and i have a rb25 neo turbo to go onto it... i was told they bolt strait on ( as in oil/water lines etc) and then someone said the other day that u have to file out some holes or something... and also someone has told me that the oil lines are different sized banjo fittings

just want to know what i'm up for before i take my car apart as i dont want to have un-expected crap thats all

It depends on the RB20, it seems that the older ones use different size water banjo fittings.

Most of them seem to be the same size though. Just check your RB20 ones though, if the heads for water lines are 24mm, then you're fine, if they're 22mm, you'll need the lines and banjo bolts with the new turbo.

You also need compressor outlet pipe (elbow) from the RB25 turbo. Besides that, everything else is bolt on.

Have a search for more info, it's been covered a fair bit

Hi Errol.

In the sticky thread "FI Guide"

There is a link to this thread:

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t109753.html

It goes over exactly what is/isnt needed and so on. Quite a detailed thread with all the info you should require.

Cheers!
