Agreed, It also confirms this when you get PM's saying thankyou for posting what you have posted.

Ive never personally met Nisskid or Ted, so im not agreeing with them just because i might be their mates, heck even Stu and i have come to disagreements on NS and more than likely here in the past.

yeh definately, i also meet a lot of SAU members at events like drift praccies and comps who come up and have a chat or when they come grab tyres etc, and they often bring up the issue with this section, pretty much all of the time they just say, meh, it's just not worth the trouble as it's never gonna do anything. and they are probably right really.

The "I'm just saying what you're thinking" line is bullshit. I can speak for myself. If I have a problem with something that matters on SAU, I'll speak with the Mods about it ... which I have done so. The people who don't matter will just be ignored.

Personally attacking someone repeatedly, is not saying what people are thinking. Consistently being a prick is not tolerated ... simple.

Freedom of speech? Insults and personal attacks are not freedom of speech. Some people need to buy a dictionary and learn some manner before posting. :D

I'm generalising.

You can't speak for other people. Even if you claim they're saying X or saying Y to you. Period. Too many people hide behind keyboards. Will people back you up for speaking on their behalf when the time calls for it. I don't think so. Not on this particular topic. You only speak for yourself, and only have yourself to blame. Such is the case with Ted180.

How do we go about getting these lifetime bans??.....I could be keen before i end up like Ted and "abusing" everyone. And i dont want the opportunity to do that. Id rather not be able to log in.

Please would a mod PM me regarding this!

Serious question, WHY do you continue to come onto SAU? Everytime I see a post of yours it seems to be putting down SAU in some way so yet you keep coming back on and rant on about the same ol same ol SAU sucks its gone down hill yadida etc.

Seriously, if your that keen to leave SAU behind why can you just NOT log in? Why try to make a scene by posting it out loud that you want to be banned so you cant come back - just leave? Or even then why not PM an Administrator that you want your account to be closed.

Personally, I've met plenty of members from here and they've all been a great bunch. The enjoyment and information I get from this forum far outweighs the minor issue I find with the few members that continues to come on here just to 'point it out to everyone' how much they dislike the forum and how shit its become - seriously, if they dont like it tough shit - adopt or STFU.

you act as if this is some sort of war or something, it's feedback to a forum ffs, doesnt matter if people will stand behind me in a time of battle, doesnt make their feedback any less credible.

people are not happy with the site, but they cant express it on here as they will get slaughtered, that's the bottom line, like it or not.

as an admin of the site, wanting to encourage people to stay, and to join, id be trying to create a site where people can give feedback and ciritisism without facing a raping.

There is a perfectly good sub-forum to voice your concerns at: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Id...d-Bugs-f14.html

first time i have been on here in a week, and now i know why.

lol, i used to hate Delux, i thought he was an honest f*kkwitt!

nisskid used to annoy the shit outta me, and ted used to press my buttons too...

BUT....

i then sold my skyline, realised i didnt HAVE to be hear, took my head out of my ass and seen the light..

in a way, all the regular whores on here, are so far up each others ass, that they agree with every one's opinion, even if they disagree

with it... just to form that united look about them... strength in numbers imho.

meh, thats my opinion. merely an observation.

just sayin....

That's definitely true, but it's not really an issue (to me at least because I see through all that mutual admiration society shit....) dependent on how you deal with it or anything else on the inet

    • As far as I can tell I have everything properly set in the Haltech software for engine size, injector data, all sensors seem to be reporting proper numbers.  If I change any injector details it doesnt run right.    Changing the base map is having the biggest change in response, im not sure how people are saying it doesnt really matter.  I'm guessing under normal conditions the ECU is able to self adjust and keep everything smooth.   Right now my best performance is happening by lowering the base map just enough to where the ECU us doing short term cut of about 45% to reach the target Lambda of 14.7.  That way when I start putting load on it still has high enough fuel map to not be so lean.  After 2500 rpm I raised the base map to what would be really rich at no load, but still helps with the lean spots on load.  I figure I don't have much reason to be above 2500rpm with no load.  When watching other videos it seems their target is reached much faster than mine.  Mine takes forever to adjust and reach the target. My next few days will be spent making sure timing is good, it was running fine before doing the ECU and DBW swap, but want to verify.  I'll also probably swap in the new injectors I bought as well as a walbro 255 pump.
    • It would be different if the sealant hadn't started to peel up with gaps in the glue about ~6cm and bigger in some areas. I would much prefer not having to do the work take them off the car . However, the filler the owner put in the roof rack mount cavities has shrunk and begun to crack on the rail delete panels. I cant trust that to hold off moisture ingress especially where I live. Not only that but I have faded paint on as well as on either side of these panels, so they would need to come off to give the roofline a proper respray. My goal is to get in there and put a healthy amount of epoxy instead of panel filler/bog and potentially skin with carbon fiber. I have 2 spare rolls from an old motorcycle fairing project from a few years back and I think it'd be a nice touch on a black stag.  I've seen some threads where people replace their roof rack delete with a welded in sheet metal part. But has anyone re-worked the roof rails themselves? It seems like there is a lot of volume there to add in some threads and maybe a keyway for a quick(er) release roof rack system. Not afraid to mill something out if I have to. It would be cool to have a cross bar only setup. That way I can keep the sleek roofline that would accept a couple bolts to gain back that extra utility  3D print some snazzy covers to hide the threaded section to be thorough and keep things covered when not using the rack.
    • Probably not. A workshop grade scantool is my go to for proper Consult interrogation. Any workshop grade tool should do it. Just go to a workshop.
    • In my head it does make sense to be a fuel problem since that is what I touched when cleaning the system. When I was testing with the fuel pressure gauge, the pressure was constantly 2.5 bar with the FPR vacuum removed. When stalling, the pressure was going up to 3.0 bar (which is how it should be on ignition).
    • ECUtalk pages don't mention they support the ABS computer (consult port has more than one CAN), so you might just need a different scan tool. But, I would expect ABS is a different light to the brake warning/handbrake light, do you see an ABS light come on for a few seconds when you turn the key from ACC to IGN? But since you said: I'd have a look at the ABS sensors in the rear hubs to make sure they are not damaged, disconnected etc.
