So my power window motor shat itself,

i resoldered all the dry looking solders,

done everything i could to fix it myself to no avail.

Eventually i conceded defeat and took it in to "PM me for the name" on buckingham drive in wanneroo.

"Al" wouldnt quote me at all, besides tellin me it was the motor and that

new it would be $600 imported from nissan.

Stuff that i said so i sourced one from a silvia site from an s1 r33

and took it in to al.

Al put the new motor in.

Still refusin to give me a rough idea how much i was lookin at.

Then when i go to pick my car up he slaps me with..

fault findin (i knew the problem),

Calling around to source a new motor, ( i provided it),

and FOUR hours labour at a total sum of $80.00 an hour plus G.S.T.

4 Hours ( what a joke more like 2 MAX).

$352.00 later plus the $100 for the window motor so $452.00 and im on my way.

Not to mention the switch is now back to front as in when u go to put it down

it goes up and vice versa

Anyways stay away from that dodgy prick and any1 who refuses to quote b4 hand.

End Rant

If i help jst one person from being suckered il be slightly more happier!

Tough luck dude :P Sounds like you had a dodgy pulled on you. Sounds very unfair

You'll probably have to edit your post to avoid naming any specific workshops though. If people want to know you can inform them via PM. Or SAU could get in trouble :S

If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
