Now. Probably get trashed for this....Oh Well....

Now I love Skylines, but I have been playing with the idea of turning to the DarK Side...WRX, I "think" I love them even more....

Why not keep this forum named to cover a wider range of makers of Hi-Po turbo cars.....???

Just a small thought.....

Hey PeakRPM

no matter what, all hi-po cars will always be welcome!

when we get the Skyline club up and running, I believe Prank will be moving this whole forum to our new website....but that doesn't mean it will be Skylines only on the forum...anyone and everyone will be welcome to join up and chat! :)

SDU4EVA has turned to "the dark side" too LOL....but he will always be one of us, so don't think you aren't welcome if you don't own a Skyline

I Agree with peakRPM..

I don't own a Skyline even though I like them and all, I don't want to be involved in another Skyline club. I'm sick of having my car slagged off just because it wasn't a Skyline. I mean, not my fault if I can't afford one.

I respect all cars, and think we should all have the opportunity to be equal. Just my 2 cents worth I guess.

MissS13, it saddens me that one of us doesn't want to be part of our group because of the treatment handed out by a few. I think that some of these guys need to remember that we all have to start somewhere and even though most of us have come together as a result of our skyline ownership, a great many friendships have formed and it would be sad to exclude someone because their particular situation doesn't allow them to purchase the vehicle of their choice at this point in time. I, myself am a member of the lamborghini club, not because i own one yet but because i have every intention of doing so when i can justify the considerable expense. membership in this club allows me to learn about the car of my dreams and some of its short comings before i outlay the dollars to purchase it.

i say stay involved and if those big bad boys in sydney disrespect you, tell 'em to get stuffed. association rather than exclusion will be the key ingredient in building this club from the motley crew that it currently is.

well said rod.

guys, you are forgetting that we are forming a skyline [b:b6eee9c364]enthusiasts[/b:b6eee9c364] club. if you have an interest in the line you are more than welcome to join, albeit you might be an associate member. all this would mean is you won't get sponsor discounts which you won't need anyway as you don't own a line.

    • ouch! how is the car now?I had sold my gtr but have been looking into some on trademe and a 260RS but I wouldnt be keen on any repairs needed on them
    • This sounds like someone who would have owned an R33 in their past... It's okay, I'm 100% picking up what you're putting down Mark.
    • Just back on what was raised about jacking off the the tow/tie down point on the front of cars. I've used it plenty. I've also watched it on a car where you could see it move the front end of the car. It was like the front end/whole car being tweaked and twisted a bit. I will say, I struggle to find good jacking points on MOST cars. The ones that have good points, I then normally struggle to find a jack tall enough to make the car change height!   One of my go to points for either the jack, or the axel stands though, is either a suspension pickup point, OR a subframe to chassis major bolting point. I actually think its the subframe on my R33 that has a bit of a bend in it, from being jacked in the middle too. However, it could have been one of my many other cars I've had over the years! Or it could also be the from me jacking it up, and the fact the top of the front radiator support isn't there, so it can allow the front of the car to move and bend etc.
    • My apologies. I forgot we were talking about weird beard M series stuff. Had been talking elsewhere with someone about an R33 with similar subject and got confused.
    • Nope, I don't like the look of ND RF, or any ND really, I don't like their faces or arses, why, because of their "modern" lines, the NC, whilst "modernish" has a more rounded shape that I like Well, that's how my overly judgemental eyes see it anyway
