Flows more than most of the Walbros, not sure about 040. Plus it is more reliable. People on here put in 15 year old GTR pumps into GTSTs as upgardes with no problems. This one is BRAND NEW.

Just have to hose clamp to the bracket. Wiring etc all the same.

Not a direct fit for an R34, you just need a couple of hose clamps to attach it to the pump support frame, you also need to extend the fuel hose on the base so that it sits in the same position for the pickup sock (ie same angle and depth) it took me 30mins to do and works a treat! My tank can still run down as low as with the stock pump without problems...it's all in the sock placement.

    • I mean I agree. I've seemingly never had issues and I have RS4's in the rain, but I drive pretty slow in the rain, and I commute around on the street and pretty much never push it. But it's not like you're going to uncontrollably slide off the street with them in the rain. At least here in Aus. And I say this before I drive to Tassie in Winter. AS above, the term "Semi" is a bit of a misnomer. The ContiSportContact7 is also a "Semi" or a "UHP" tyre. It's the same category as an AD09 in any case.
    • These are not semis. None of the tyres in that comparo are semis. They are UHP tyres. Perfectly streetable. I'm on my second set of AD09, after using a couple of sets of AD08R. On the street. Every day. I get 15-20 thousand km out of them, which is perfectly acceptable. They are a really nice tyre to drive on. I have few, if any, complaints.
    • You'd hope, if it came from ACS, that it wouldn't be that.
    • Or the brand new throwout may be unhappy...
    • Thanks for the linkie. Certainly always a great deal of help when people post comparisons like these, but I think for now I'll stay away from any semi slicks. I did go ahead and order the sportcontact 7. My buddy has them on his modified A4 and he keeps saying how good they are. For my intended purposes these will probably work real well. I'll report on them once I had the chance to try them out
