I had this black 33 with lightning airbrushed all over it come up beside me, gating me trying to get me to race... he eventually took off like a shower of shit passed the copper blowing a flame prolly into 4th, cop sped up to get his plate i guess wonder if he gets a visit tomorrow

This guy tried the same thing with me starting from the the Ann St exit onto Coro Drive.....and after trying unsuccessfull to get me to race him.....shows of dori skills at the turnoff at Toowong. He gave the 10 people lined up at the bus stop the scare of their life, after which I got the stares of hell from them. Prolly cuz I had a 33 aswell....What I thought to myself was....if he lost it, he would have taken out 10 innocent bystanders.....

and the JDM S15 has a single 3inch boost gauge on the A pillar

i dnt like pods to be honest. i find the airbox is efficent enough. on GTRs it is. but my 180sx didnt come with it..

a box will be nice but.. wher do i buy thin sheets of aluminum..? bunnings..?

yeah you should be able to stuff there. or a metal fabricators.

i am just going to put my pod in the front bar....thats cold air induction for you.

Yeah they reacon an exposed pod is a fire risk... rofl... I got told that your car can back fire and shoot a flame out of your pod which can ignite dangerous gases in your engine bay :S......

and they raped everyone at the spit yesterday afternoon as well.

was there and came about 3.30 was standing up at the food takeaway place.

noticed 2 highway patrol cars turning up and doing a drive through.

they got to the exit where u take a right to head to the coast or left to go back into the spit and both turned left.

1 parked in the parking area and 1 went through again.

i jumped in the car, drove out towards the coast with my mate in his wrx following me.

driving out, saw 1x DOT ute, 3x cop cars & 2x cop bikes driving into the spit.

Like moths to the flame, Lemmings to the cliff.

Someone once said, Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Cruise the coast and get raped. Simple as that. I did a couple of cruises down there but it doesnt take long to see which way is up. Remember, they can also nail you for stuff that is completely legal. Its then up to you to prove its fine. Wasting your time and your money.

The best churches are in the west. "GO WEST YOUNG MAN" :P

Maybe not everyone thinks it's wasting time and money when it comes down to nothing more then principal. I for one have no issue sleeping at night knowing I tie up the legal system for more important matters then petty tickets I’ve taken to court just because I can.

Fine if you have the time and the resources dude, I dont. To me its just a pain in the farkin butt so its best to avoid it.

Honestly, I didn't know the Stigma Skylines had with the police before I bought one, I always wanted one.. The danger around my area is the smacktards in the vn commo's... Oh well we all have to suck it up i spose ?

i think its mostly the younger gen who own imports are giving majority import owners a bad name .. fact is most police officers dont know the modification legislation anyways they tell you its a defect doesnt always mean it is a defect fight it and you'll win our law is screwed up they rather waste time and money on this then put rapest and drug mafia behind bars... etc.. dont bother fighting with them.. and no legally you dont need to have a sheild around your POD .. legislation says your pod has to be secured not moving around thats it so if you get defected for not having a sheild smile at the officer and say i'll see you in court :) as for BOV well any atmo venting is illegal but not all cops know which ones are and which ones arent i think turbosmarts are their fav to defect from my experiance

i know when i was 18 with my first import bluey sss attessa i was a hoon! in time you learn and move forward

As those officers took their positions, several others shut down the Broadwater car park at Southport, performing checks on dozens of young motorists.

The District Traffic Branch, Department of Transport and officers from the State Traffic Taskforce were patrolling the roads to make sure no hoons escaped.

are they young motorists or hoons????

    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
    • The best part is when you own the car long enough that you look back and find your OWN ham fisted amateur shit!
    • The annoying part about neglect, is when you start to replace one thing, and find ten more broken things. Ham fisted monkey repairs you normally only find out about when trying to do something unrelated! Ha ha   Neglect you can kind of anticipate the huge costs to fix it all. Ham fistedness is normally a shock the first time your work on a new old car, as everything "looked" good before.
