Hey everyone,

Putting my wheels up for sale here for a local to scoop them up before they head off to the main section.

Brand: Rays / Volk Racing

Model: F-Zero Challenge

Size: 18x9

Offset: +22

Tyres: 2x 85-90%, 2x 75-85% with slightly worn inner edge 255/35R18

Condition: There is a bit of gutter rash and some scratches, the usual wear for older wheels. Also tiny bit of chipped paint in non visible areas.

Price: $2000 or decent offer

I have never come across another set in this colour and I have been advised they were an extremely limited run so you can be almost certain no one else has them. Very regretful sale and they would be a nice addition before marques in the park..... *hint*

Any questions feel free to ask.

offset +22? im surprised they fit on your car! spacers? GTS-t's usually require a minimal offset of about +32, dont they? please correct me if im wrong

I ran 18 x 8 +30 all round and had no problems. But my car was also not very low. GL with the sale hot colour for them rims too.

Youre thinking in reverse Luke... The lower number if it is in positive the wider the offset is (depending on the width of the wheel). For example +22 will sit further away from the strut than a +32 in the same size and width.

You should buy these wheels Luke they would look GREAT on your car especially seeing as they have a red inner lip!

(Its just a pity that they have horrible tyres on them).

DO IT! :)

Bullet32 - haha horrible tyres.. I've just gotten back from tyre shopping and you would be surprised how many reputable shops tried to sell these to me. A certain shop was pushing Nankang's onto me like crazy because they didn't have any Adrenalins in stock. The Nankangs are fairly decent for their price and my driving but then again I dont have Federals to compare them to  . I just want to see a local buy them as I really like them and would be good to see them round on someones car every now and then.

Cheers guys!

Hey if you like Nankangs then thats cool...

Im just a bit bias towards a certain brand (as you may have noticed)

If you like the Bridgestone adrenalins then you might like the 595 EVO (see picture) its still very new and we dont have a lot of sizes but its definately a sticky street tyre...

Lol, I never said I liked them.. they're just a large step above some of the crap I've driven on in the past...

Where abouts do you work, I may have to pay you a visit and check them out as I'm not really impressed with some of the crap thats been fed to me today. Best value for money I've come across so far are Advan AS01 for $1472 for a set.

    • Yes, I know🙄 but the sequential is not in my budget... don't want to reduce power neither, so looks like I'm stuck in the rabbit hole🤣
    • You’ll be very upset when you bust that too not to mention the gearing totally sucks. Don’t do it.

    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
