R32 what? RB20DE, RB20DET, RB25DE, RB26DETT ?

they are all different is size, but all top feed, so no R33 will not fit unless its an RB26DETT engine you have.

you can not change size unless you reprogram the ecu either, so you must get the correct ones for the vehicle you have.

my advise is get a good s/hand set and get them ultrasonically cleaned if they need replacing for whatever reason.

hmmm thanks guys i mite go for the gtr ones ?

how much power can they handle ?

thanks

What motor do you have?

If you don't have the correct size injectors then you need a Power FC or the like - otherwise the engine will run very rich, it will look like you have a blown turbo

GTR injectors can handle high 200rwkw and maybe even 300rwkw.

You would need a resistor pack of some sort and a retune of the standard/aftermarket ecu to control the new injectors. You won't be able to do it on the safc as far as I know.

How much power are you making at the moment? And how much are you planning on making? You can keep the standard injector and make 200+rwkw with a good tune. Just make sure they're in good condition and are clean.

You can buy a genuine one for ~$120 or make one up yourself. If you want one made up, just go to jaycar or dick smith and buy some resistors and make them some how I can't remember. Try a search on the forums and you'll find all the information you're after. I think it was Roy who also made a tutorial on how to connect up the resistor pack.

The standard rb20 injectors are high impedance and the gtr's injectors are low impedance. What the resistor packs do is it increases the resistance for the standard rb20 ecu to be able to control the gtr injectors. It's something along the lines of that, not 100% sure though. You just need it if you've got the standard rb20 ecu and plan on running any low impendance injectors.

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
