bluegts Posted December 3, 2007 Author Share Posted December 3, 2007 Guess I'll owe somebody a coilpack then lol. It's gotta be the ECU. There's nothing else in the circuit. Unless it's a loom. But I've tested the coil loom and the loom between the coil loom and ecu with a multimeter and nothing is shorting anywhere. Smart idea just sprung to mind as I wrote that. I should test the signal wire for coil #6 and see whether it's stuck on, cause I reckon thats the problem. It should be pulsing, and instead it may have become stuck on cause the transistor in the top of the coil pack to overheat and pop. Im changing my computer to aftermarket one and getting split fires as well so I will let you know if that works.
