NismoR34
hmm - no major immediate plans for mine. *Suspension ~ one day > happy with handling, it just sits too high *FMIC ~ one day > stock one flows well enough for stock turbo anyway. *Possibly upgrade clutch, like a twin plate or something, [would also lighten flywheel at same time]. *Couple of other 'little' things I will do very soon but they secret Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/19644-future-plans-for-us-turkeys-and-our-cars-care-of-gordo/page/6/#findComment-414627 Share on other sites

JAGR33
Horus - HKS 2530's, spool up quick (approx. 3500rpm) and good for 1.4 bar. With other mods (powerfc, full exhaust, filters, adj. cam gears, ebc, injectors and fuel pump) should be good for around 310-330 rwkws. Also providing you have a decent twin plate clutch to hold the power!!! predator
If I get a 180 or R32 probably will just go straight for the HKS 2530 or 2540 .. 2530 on an SR20DET sounds pretty fun.. that was the turbo i was going to chuck on my R33, but nah, cbf now -- too much money.. R31Nismoid
mmm... Funkey... you can take it off my hands. but it wont come el cheapo. only becasue it's got the t04e... extractors... ecu/loom.. All of which aren't cheap (extractors are 1-of-800 made)... but in the package you'll save. remember it's making approx 190rwkw on the lowly 9psi wat do you think it's worth? considering 250rwkw will be had with JUST BOOST. and nothing else Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/19644-future-plans-for-us-turkeys-and-our-cars-care-of-gordo/page/6/#findComment-415139 Share on other sites

meggala
nah mate not drugs common sense this is a very good and very popular swap some reasons for the swap 1 no need for a custom plenum. 2 power fc bolts straight in 3 there are heaps of parts for them. 4. it makes the weight distribution 50/50. 5 there are no high profile ones and i like to be different. 6 I found some one who is willing to do the conversion for a reasonable fee. 7 the motors are more torquey. 8 the gearbox just had 2k spent on it in a full rebuild 9 the motor only has 80 000 genuine klms10 when I need to upgrade things like pistons and injectors I will only require 4 not six and development on the rb20 is finished in japan Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/19644-future-plans-for-us-turkeys-and-our-cars-care-of-gordo/page/6/#findComment-416197 Share on other sites
meggala
look how far back the motor sits now go out to your car and see how forward the rb20 sits Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/19644-future-plans-for-us-turkeys-and-our-cars-care-of-gordo/page/6/#findComment-416198 Share on other sites
