finally sent my car in for the rebuild but there is alot of unanswered questions about the 3.0L conversion.

as far as i know it hasnt been done to the r34 but alot of success for previous models.

if there really is to much stuffing around ill drop the turbo size and stick with the 2.5.

i was hoping if anyone could put in some feedback as to wat to expect and wat to prepare for.

heres a quick rundown of wats already in the works.

gt35

plenum

throttle body

injectors

clutch

manifold

dump/front pipes

cams

rods

pistons

the motor is being pulled out atm so we still checking its state, i thought id take this time to do a bit of research whether to really go 3.0L or just to leave it at 2.5

any help would be appreciated guys.

Help for what?

There is a RB30 sticky thread, has been for years, it has all the information.

Just because your using a R34 body, means nothing. Go read the information

Honestly mate, im going to remove your thread starting rights if you keep up the starting of threads without no researching.

Cheers.

Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
