i was at a set of lights behind some bogans in a typical bogan car, and they failed to pay attention when the lights went green - the guy behind me beeped and they thought it was me.

when they started driving they threw a full can of redbull out of their car hoping to hit my bonnet i assume.

i swerved sucsessfully (thank you maxxis super grippy tyers) and when i pulled up next to them at the traffic lights i taked to them through my window, pulled my disconnected horn out of my steering wheel and told them that i didnt beep them cos i dont have a connected horn

they were like omg sorry, thought you were being a bitch.

I was leaving for work about 5am one fine Saturday morning, and some lovely group of guys (no doubt on their way home from Friday night antics) decided it would be amusing to try and play silly buggers with me. Started swerving into my lane, and when we pulled up at the lights and they proceeded to shout obscenities from the window of their ute.

When I promptly refused to 'take the bait' (noting we were about 100m from local cop shop) they took off, but slowed down again to about 30km/h, i slowed down too since i didnt fancy pulling up next to them for fear of being swerved off the road.. they threw their maccas out the window at my car :( They missed me but that could have been messy.

I pulled into the bus port so they pulled away, but my god it made me mad.

I don't fancy being run off the road just because im in an import and some bogans in a white ute decide they dont like jap cars. It doenst make sense.

Beth...it's a young mans way of saying " I likes U baybeeee"...or " we're completely retarded and have no idea how to relate to any person in a meaningful way including the morons in this car"

I was at the Shell servo last night filling up my bike. Long story short, asshole 1 (brown pulsar) parks short of the pump so asshole 2 (brown VN cyl) takes offence, then its verbal including A2's GF, then it escalates to "come on XXXX what are ya , come on have a go" then A2 pushes A1 car about 2m then A1 takes off. A2 then apologises to trhe audience...i'm not sure for what..being a knob,?not wearing anything but a pair of boardies in public? swearing like a trooper? cheap tatoos? $4 haircut? brown commodore? Anywho A2 finishes his chest thumping and is suprised that his front bar is misaligned and now his shi7box is making a new noise. The stupid and ignorant should not be allowed to breed.

was in my mates liney and we were cruising up near the freeway entrance at joondalup when we spotted a hot lookin late model mercedes benz, so we cruised up closer to get a better look. when we got next to it my mates car let of a low flutter when he hoped of the gas, anyways the f**kn buisness man prick must have taken offence to this, no idea why and he starts cutting us off for no reason and pulling finger signs and shit, everytime we wud try to get past he wud cut us off and then brake hard on the freeway!!!, he was even driving in the middle of the two lanes so we culdnt get past

funny thing was some middle aged bogan looking dude in a falcodore saw what was happening and threw an orange at the merc hahaha,

talk about unexpected allie

i was stopped at a set of lights the other day when for no apparent reason and with no pror warning some sxxxhead in a green landrover jumped out kicked my door and sped off through the red light. luckily i'm guessing he kicked the door where it meets the pillar cos i couldn't find any damage, either that or he was piss weak.

has anyone else in a black r34 pissed off a rover driver? lol. weirdness

lol ive had that happen before on the freeway, you just happen to have a little bit of flutter and people think you are 'hooning' around - seems to provoke a lot of anger, which you cant but attribute to some level of jealousy :(

This is weird and odd! what's with the Rover drivers?? lot's of stories about them! Even me a couple weeks back on Alexander drv one night, Rover comes driving up fast on the right lane to pass by me, as he is about to pass swerves towards me coming damn close! I backed off and kept my distance, he didn't seem to try anything else after that! :worship:

if i spot a car load of bogans cruising in their aussie machines,i make sure not to make any flutter noises, cause as ive found out b4 it pisses people off and i like my new paint job the way it is!,,sum import drivers do take the whole pssssh thing a bit far,i was in the girl friends cute lil excel the other day when a 33 decided he needed to gear bak to 2nd right near our window then hit 3rd,then 4th,and then bak to 3rd, then 4th again, what a nob!!!,,made me wanna hurl my subway in to his windscreen.

yeah true, was on tonkin a while back, this r32 just kept fluttering near us, it became annoying to some extent then he sped off, it's different changing gears and the flutter occurring cause that's what it has to do, but then it's another thing doing it on purpose to get attention..

Wasn't me was it?:)

I can't help fluttering.. due to the small turbo and tight bov, even casual driving causes flutters, only way I can make the bov sound normal is by driving hard!

I hate it but I'm used to it now, not quite as annoying as it was originally.

    • Even more fun, leave all the ADAS stuff plugged in, but in different locations, hopefully avoid any codes!   And honestly, all these new cars with their weird electronics. Pull all the electronics out Duncan, and just shove an aftermarket ECU and if needed a trans controller in, along with a PDM. Make it run basic but race car styled!
    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
    • So I prepped the car for another track day on Wednesday (will be interesting to see coolant temps post flushing out and the larger reservoir, with a forecast of 3-14 being 20o cooler than last time I took it out). Couple of things to mention; since I am just driving the car and not taking a support vehicle, I took the rear seats out and just loaded the back up Team Trackday style. Look at all that space! To cover off removing the rear seat....it is weird (note the hybrid is probably different because it wouldn't have folding rear seats) Basically, you remove the lower seat base, very similar to a r series but it is a clip that pulls forward to release the base rather than it being bolted down. Easy Then, you need to remove the side section of the rear seat on each side. There is a 14mm head nut at the bottom of the side piece, the it slides upwards off a hook at the top to release; you also need to unhook the seatbelt from the loop at the top. Then the centre piece is weird. You need to release/fold the seats forward with the tab in the boot on each side From there, there are 2,x12mm headed bolts holding the rear of each seat to the folding bracket, under the trim between the rear seat and the boot (4x christmas tree clips there, they suck). The seat is out but you can see where the bolts attach to the bracket
    • As discussed in the previous post, the bushes in the 110 needed replacing. I took this opportunity to replace the castor bushes, the front lower control arm, lower the car and get the alignment dialled in with new tyres. I took it down to Alignment Motorsports on the GC to get this work done and also get more out of the Shockworks as I felt like I wasn't getting the full use out of them.  To cut a very long story short, it ended up being the case the passenger side castor arm wouldn't accept the brand new bush as the sleeve had worn badly enough to the point you could push the new bush in by hand and completely through. Trying a pair of TRD bushes didn't fix the issue either (I had originally gone with Hardrace bushes). We needed to urgently source another castor arm, and thankfully this was sourced and the guys at the shop worked on my car until 7pm on a Saturday to get everything done. The car rides a lot nicer now with the suspension dialled in properly. Lowered the car a little as well to suit the lower profile front tyres, and just bring the car down generally. Eternally thankful for the guys down at the shop to get the car sorted, we both pulled big favours from our contacts to get it done on the Saturday.  Also plugged in the new Stedi foglights into the S15, and even from a quick test in the garage I'm keen to see how they look out on the road. I had some concerns about the length of the LED body and whether it'd fit in the foglight housing but it's fine.  I've got a small window coming up next month where I'll likely get a little paint work done on the 110 to remove the rear wing, add a boot wing and roof wing, get the side skirt fixed up and colour match the little panel on the tail lights so that I can install some badges that I've kept in storage. I'm also tempted to put in a new pair of headlights on the 110.  Until then, here's some more pictures from Easter this year.
    • I would put a fuel pressure gauge between the filter and the fuel rail, see if it's maintaining good fuel pressure at idle going up to the point when it stalls. Do you see any strange behavior in commanded fuel leading up to the point when it stalls? You might have to start going through the service manual and doing a long list of sensor tests if it's not the fuel system for whatever reason.
