Hey, i had this problem with my 32, coz i got a half cage and no back seats. Cops yellow licky'd me and told me told i needed to register it as a 2 seater. So i took it to Pits in Kelmscott, told me i COULDNT do it. Confused i called the Technical Section in Welshpool, told me it was all sweet, told me to check the National Code of practice (linked)

http://www.infrastructure.gov.au/roads/saf...n/vsb_ncop.aspx

Check the pdf file labled, LK Section to do with Seating and occupancy. basically, if you plan on PERMANENTLY removing back seats, you need to seal up any holes left by the removal of back seats, boot still needs to be seperate for cabin (ie parcel tray and metal plate need to stay in place) and then fill out a form saying you wish to register it as a 2 seater. Might need a engineer or Mech to sign sayin, yes it meets the requirements on the check list. Just read the PDF file, pretty self explanatory. All the best with that.

I ripped mine out (s15) for collie, then when I went to put them back in, I couldn't get the seatbelts to come out... Seats were in tho. Got stickered one night for bald tyres and had to go over. Rather than f**k around with the seatbelts, I figured I'd go the 2 seat option so that if I needed to pull the seats out again, I could, legally.

ALL bolts/brackets/anything else sharp/not a part of the body needs to be removed and you need something to block the boot from the cabin (I used MDF drilled into the body). I think that's to do with fumes/possibility of explosion, but I'm not sure.

My car is still rego'd for 4 seats, but have the permit for no rear seats. So in the event I want to take the whole family out, I can throw it all back together (with seatbelts) and still have 4 people in the car legally. In the event I want to go to collie and load up 10 tyres, I can rip it all apart and do that legally.

Only thing is, I think you'll find if you have the back seat in, you will need to have the seatbelts in. So even if you have the permit and get pulled over, not having seatbelts for seats is a yellow, where as if the whole lot wasn't there you'd be fine.

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
