com - is wastegate

no - goes to turbo, or if ya have an externally wastegated turbo with no fitting, goes to a boost pressure source ( before the throttle body of butterfly)

i have just changed to an externally wastegated turbo so i have to change mine around and put another fitting on my boost solenoid.

COM needs to goto the wastegate

PORT needs to goto the intercooler pipe work or vacuum line from the manifold

if you dont connect PORT the car is running unlimited boost and you'll do damange if you load the car up and hit boost

i can feel the pressure of the pressure sensor....but not in the port hose....the pressure sensor hose is little its T to the bov, so i should hav a vaccum on the port, right??? can somebody give me a pix of where the port hose goes to???

could it be possible my boost solenoid is not working?? i read from other sites that the boost solenoid will click and sound when hitting the boost.....i can't hear from mine....i tried lowering the boost settings...last night i tried...still 1.6 readings from m apexi avcr on the full boost....help guys...

dont you have off A and B settings for boost.

you should only hear the clicking if your boost solenoid is sitting on something metal. As the clicking sound is the solenoid hitting it.

Mines mounted to my strut tower at the moment, but i am moving it.

What hoses have you got connected to where?

on the boost solenoid there is 3 ports, with the port NC propbably doesnt have a fitting.

Com goes to your wastegate

No goes to a boost pressure source only

Your blow-off valve should be connected to a vacuum/pressure source (your inlet manifold)

then a hose coming from your inlet manifold to your pressure sensor.

There probably wont be any pressure coming from your vacuum/pressure hoses at idle ( not sure)

And you will only hear the clicking sound from your boost solenoid (if hitting against metal) when your under boost. You wont hear it at idle.

yes i have settings A and B, i set it to A, and 20% duty and still the boost hits 1.6, what could be the reason?? maybe my solenoid is not working??can we check in the avcr if the solenoid is getting a power source????

com goes to wastegate is correct...

but the port...i have 2 hoses coming below the intake...one hose with the yellow strip which is condemned with bolt and clip, and the other is the one connected to the port of the solenoid... i can't hear my solenoid clicking,,even at boost...my solenoid is also same mounted near the strut bar..

i remember before when i was not using my car for a long time, and i tried switch the key to on, i would hear the clicking sound, like fuel pump clicking, i think that was the solenoid click, i wonder, just for that moment, and after that, i can't hear it anymore, could it be the power source of the solenoid lost contact???

Hey i have ran into some problems with the install of vacuum lines ( i think) for my avcr boost solenoid.

I am aware com goes to wastegate, BUT the problem is that i have two ports on the 45mm turbosmart wastegate.

And also NO goes to boost pressure source (intercooler pipe before throttlebody)

My setup at the moment is all farked up.

COM is going to the intercooler piping before throttle body

NC is going to Top port of 45mm ext wastegate

NO is going to bottom port of 45mm ext wastegate

Pressure sensor has hose going to inlet manifold

Bov has hose going to inlet manifold

Should i have

COM going to port 1 of wastegate

NO to intercooler piping

NC should go to bottom port of wastegate????

And leave pressure sensor and bov as they are.

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
