Vdc / Gear Box Going Into Safe Mode

Hi,

My VDC or gearbox is going into safe mode when my car slips aggresively. Normal driving without pushing traction control the car works perfect. in straight line acceleration on a smooth surface its also fine. But when I am at WOT and if excessive slip occurs my gearbox and VDC goes into safe mode.

Any ideas whats going on? I just bought it....

Hi folks,

Did some research and it seems that if you change the wheel and tire sizes this may happen. Can any of you conform this for me? I've only seen this mentioned in the US site.

If this is so. Would you guys think of a way for a work around? this may be a headache for me since I drive agressively but would still like to keep traction control running when i need it. TIA

it was doing that to mine when the brake pads were low soon as they got changed it stopped
