Trust Bearing Or Busche

I have notice that there is a slight rubbing sound on some of my gear changes in the GTR. I have been told by a few people that its my thrust bearing/busch that needs replacement. Apparently it has something to do with pushin of the buttons on your clutch and sometimes it moves which creates this noise. I spose i need to drop the box and lift the engine. The clutch is fine and has no slip and i basically brand new. Is it worth waiting out to replace this $50 part until my clutch goes or will i be doin damage by ignoring the problem? Any advice or people who have had similar issues? Oh car is a 1995 Skyline GTR. Cheers...
