Hi Guys i got a turbo timer that came with the car from japan. have since had a mongoose m80g installed by alan joung(sp? and need his number anyone??).

This morning totally out of the blue i get up head to work, park car... take keys out.... turbo timer isnt counting. its not even lit up. Eventually i had a to discount plug to injectors to turn the bloody car off it ran for 10mins before i did that. So i drove back home, unplugged injector plug again then d/c battery.

I have removed the steering columb but my concern is... if i rip out/unplug the turbo timer... is that going to screw up my alarm or anything else? When the alarm was put in it was obviously done in a way so as to work with the turbo timer. Can i simply remove the turbo timer and the alarm/immobiliser and everything else be ok? Or am i kinda screwed and need alan to come?

Basically i want the turbo timer out and not putting one back in. Needless trouble now this has happened.

Cheers

Rob

i think you should be fine to take out the turbo timer just make sure you take out the harness and connect the wires to ignition up correctly and remove the relay. it shouldn't play with your alarm system as far as i can think. Hame
