Yo-Yo you took it off but haven't fixed holes yet yea? can you get some pics of how it is atm please? thats wat i was after...

Sure mate, I'll post a pic when I can

I'm gonna do it properly and have some backing plates welded to the inside of the holes before they bog it up.

If they take their time and do it properly there shouldn't be any warping in the metal.

Can't wait to put the GTR style wing on.

I was originally going to just have no spoiler at all, but seeing a few wingless R34's in person it just seemed too much like a sedan to me, defeating the purpose of buying a coupe IMO :)

I took mine off last week. Here are the pics... and now that you said it... it is more sedan looking lol. However i think it makes it look alot smaller and the rear less square. I didnt have the nismo spoiler though

I had the wing off for a bit. And personally, it looked alrite on my 34 cause it is wide body but if it wasn't i reckon it doesn't look good at all. Just the shape is all wrong without the wing. imo.

But without a wing it looked fatter and lower. :P

That's what I like to see! A nice clean silver R34. I have a nismo sticker in exactly the same place hehehe.

So how's things anyway mate? I'm pretty sure you bought an engine cover off me before.

Don't get me wrong I like the wingless look, but I prefer the look of a GTR spoiler.

RSPEC: U'll have a pic soon mate

^^ thanks buddy

Granthem - looks nice n smooth! dump it!

I know i know... i got the c spanners just sitting in my tool box waiting for me to move to a house with a shallower driveway. My area has alot of spoilt brats that like to cause havoc, and therefore i dont like leaving my car on the street.

And hey Yo-Yo, i havnt dont the cover yet. Im thinking a japanese flag style. we will see how it turns out

I do like the GTR spoiler too, but in the mean time with no money no spoiler will do :D

Hey mate here's the pics,

It's been raining in my area recently so I taped up the holes with industrial grade tape, the stuff they use temporarily on light poles and traffic lights.

Like I said, 7 freakin bolt holes :(

and I added a pic of the GTR wing I'm gonna put on ;)

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
