Connecting Dvd Player To R34 Factory Satnav/tv

as title says, has anyone done this on their r34s and if so, does it work properly etc?

someone on here has done it before, you just need a converter of some sort (change to aussie settings or something) the topic is somewhere on this site do a search.. he even got playstation working, id do it to mine but the actual tv unit comes up when it feels like and no buttons work at all, just a blue screen with yellow and white strip with jap writing

which version? I can get the leads for them so its a plug and go affair.

take a pic of your dash mainly of the screen area. that will tell me.

i've got a dvd player (minus screen) just waiting for someone to put it in for me, dont wanna take it to the usual audio places were they'd have no idea...

Yeh awesome thanks a lot Chris. Im left with 2 options atm, 1. cheaper version is i wack a dvd player in the boot or near passenger seat and run a plug from jap unit, or 2. get a new unit (jvc dvd player with a usb port) that can connect to existing tv also, that way i like because i get rid of the standard cd unit and stacker in the back which i dont like (bit annoying going to boot all the time). gave me a price of 550 chris what you think? should i look for a unit that i like outside or go ahead with what he's offering?
