please speak from experience!!!

does any1 know???

what size are ca18det injectors. with a safc you dont want to have to take out too much fuel otherwise it indirectly stuffs with your timing. and yes, a safc will support a z32 afm. you just set it up so the safc knows its getting a signal from a z32 and sending it to a r32 gtst ecu.

the injectors are 370cc...enough for 200rwkw???

i thought stock R33 GTST injectors were 370cc? and my power FC reported 100% injector duty off 14PSI boost, stock turbo, intercooler etc.. with the base FC map.. so i doubt they will support up to 200RWKW.

safc will run the 370cc injectors, it will run the Z32 afm, it will run a fuel pressure regulator and a 040 fuel pump, it'll even run with a highflow turbo. speaking from experience. daily driver. 190rwkw. upgradding to PowerFc as soon as I book it in.

a sitc would help for the ignition timing adjustments.... BUT if you have a R32 Id personally get a remap (contact username: Yoshi) and still use the safc for minor corrections.

wats a sitc??? and how do i get incontact with yoshi??? is he located in sydney??

also how come your upgrading to a power fc if your apexi safc is doing a "good" job?? or isnt it!

sitc is an apexi Super ignition Timing Controller

adjusts the ignition timing, like the safc adjusts the air;fuel ratio

google is your friend

Ive been using safc/sitc for 2yrs. thought its time to "trial" a PowerFc with my auto box

fact is a full aftermarket ecu will always be a better choice than a piggyback.

Yoshi does remaps, have no idea where he is. pm him.

yes - my safc has done an awesome job. just noticed tho that you are talking about a SAFC1. bugger that, get the SAFCII or the SAFC Neo.

ive got safc1 already installed so im gonna have to put up with it...where did you buy ur sitc from?? and what was it worth???

As I mentioned in a PM.

Using a Z32 with the SAFC is 100% pointless as the SAFC bends the voltage back to what it would have been with the stock afm.

As a result if the stock afm were maxed out yet the Z32 is outputting say 4volts. The safc will increase the voltage back to the maxed 5.1volts so the ecu against see's 5.1volts as it did with the stock afm.

Stick with the stock afm, stock injectors and a nismo fpr in your case.

IF you were to have the ecu remapped with a high flow then do consider the Z32 and ca18det or gtr injectors.

    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
