Hi all,

On Sunday I managed to mount my HKS EVCIII in the "coin" pocket of my R34 GTT. The pocket I am refering to is the one on the right hand side on the lower section of the dash on the drivers side.

It did take a lot of cutting of plastic, but the pocket is still totally usable and closes and opens in the same fashion as before. My aim here was to add the EVC steathly to prevent prying eyes. Both my DINs are full so this is the only other place I could fit it without making big holes in the dash etc.

At the same time I mounted a dual cigar lighter under the dash (mounts just clear of the steering rack etc). This is for GPS, phone etc cables so I dont have cables running all over the car.

You can see it in the top left on the first picture.

All I used was a dremel tool, cable ties, some foam for spacing (it needs to mount on a slight angle in the pocket), and the general screw drivers etc to take the panel out (one screw on the left of the steering column, and 2 on the bonnet release). The rest is self explanitory when you take out the panel.

Let me know your thoughts people.

Not a Skyline but still in the family. S14 with Greddy Profec B in the ashtray. Very stealth. Controlling the boost in the RB20DET so part Skyline. And the pics make it look dirtier than it really is.

That looks great, very stealthy. And much healthier than smoking as well!!

    • Agreed, I've never seen a 260RS specific manual. As GTSBoy said it will mostly be stagea other than the engine loom https://www.hgeconsulting.com.au/stageaservicemanual.pdf
    • You'lll likely have to make do with R33 GTR for engine/tranny stuff, and Stagea for the body. I don't know that there's even been an actual diagram seen in the wild.
    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
