Comments / Modifications:

This car is the 'DAYZ Edition' with leather seats, climate control, dual airbags and all the luxury comforts. I have replaced the timing belt and water pump in this car, as well as platinum spark plugs and all new filters every 5,000ks since I have owned it. There are no mechanical or reliability issues with the car at all. Car will be serviced again prior to sale.

Externally, the car has been updated with clear side and front indicators, as well as Series 2 tail lights, giving it a more modern look. There are a few minor blemishes, as expected with an older car, however the overall condition of the duco is excellent.

Mechanically, the car includes the following modifications, which have all been done in a sensible manner to ensure the ongoing reliability of the car

- K&N Panel Air Filter

- Larger R34 Skyline intercooler in factory location

- GTR Fuel Pump

- Stainless 3" split dump pipe from turbo - BOS Importing from Forums

- Hi flow Catalytic Converter - Catco metal, 740cfm

- 3" 'TRUST' exhaust - very quiet, modified from R32 GTR

- APEXI AFC Neo Air Fuel computer

- APEXI SITC Ignition Timing computer

- Factory boost level raised via Turbotech boost controller to 11psi - running 160Kw at the wheels.

Fuel economy is between 13-14 litres per hundred with mostly town driving. On long freeway trips I have achieved 10.5 litres per hundred.

Internally, I have replaced the radio with a Pioneer MP3 CD player with Bluetooth hands free. You can connect any Bluetooth mobile phone to it. The Leather seats are in excellent condition, only slight wear on the drivers boulster.

I am selling this car as am getting a company car and it is no longer needed.

how is the interior? do you know how the go towing? got a 33 4dr just took it of the road using it for drift

Interior is A1, a few marks on the mats, carpet is mint though. Leather seats are very good, drivers is a little worn where get in and out on the side, but not ripped.

Check the forum for sydneykid, he tows a r32 GTR around all the time with a stagea.

bump ... consider any REASONABLE offers

Damn this is such a bargain... who in their right mind would spend the same money on a second-hand Aussie car for under 12k?

Have you tried the regular advertising lpaces, like Trading Post?

free bump :P

have you advertised on carsales.com.au? I think its $30 till you sell it !

yep, its on carsales as well, no bites though but seems to be priced appropriately to all others there, or cheaper .

PRICE DROP - $10,500 absolute firm for car as listed now with all mods.

If no interest in next week, I will part out some of the mods and have buyers for the exhaust and safc/sitc. Anyone looking for series 2 rear lights and front, side clear indicators please express your interest now.

Thanks,

Stu

    • Or, is it a case of what it is like owning an R series Skyline? NFI what the previous owner has done or fiddled with... Ha ha ha After reading through this thread, I went on a bit of a research about the Q50/Q60. Now I'm quite intrigued by them! Is the AWD in them more like a WRX where it's always AWD, or is it more like the ATTESSA in the GTRs? By the sound of this TCU tuning, this sounds like a case of someone has made some real software for it, and you just need the right piece of hardware, and then you license that specific vehicle/TCU. Or is this a case of the software will be really expensive so only a few tuners have it, and you still have to pay a license per vehicle?
    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
