Has any1 bought anything from geenline recently?

Coz the aus rep simon meyer has apparently had a stroke and in hospital, so your orders might get delayed even further. I ordered my farking sard injectors from them over a month now and i havent recieved them as yet, last i heard from simon was about 1.5 weeks ago before his stroke) and he said they still havent arrived as yet at the japan head office, and i havent got an answer back from their head office as yet as to whats happening now.

Now something is wrong with their site.

I advice every1 not to buy anything from them till they sort themselves out.

Dude I'd wish I'd known about this last week! I ordered a few bits and got a reply saying that order will now be handled by a guy called Jason in their Jap head office. I did get an email this morning confirming payment but not that the goods have been sent. Oh well, time to play the waiting game......

I got stuffed around a bit waiting for some stuff, suggest you enquire as to availability before ordering, may save sitting waiting wondering what has happened.

INASNT - if you are worried, just e-mail Jason in Japan. I have e-mailed him before about stuff and he is usually pretty prompt with the replies.

Hi Guys,

We have to apologise on this end for the things that have been stuffing up of late.

Simon our Australian agent is in hospital after suffering a severe stroke in a freak accident on a football field about a week and a half ago (caused by a broken jaw). He is still under heavy sedation and hope that he does make a full recovery.

In Simon's abscence we have had a few problems with orders and communications with clients from Japan as we didn't have their details then.

Not trying to make excuses but with INSANT's case, neither Greenline or SARD had stock of the injectors he requested and needed to be manufactured. This doesn't excuse the fact that they are late and that we couldn't get that information to him.

The website going down is odd as we have no record of it on our system logs and seems to be working fine now.

Due to the range of parts that we have access to it is impossible for us to keep stock of everything we list on our website. We often have to order direct from the manufacturer which is why we state that normal delivery times are 10-14 days. If the item is in stock it is obviously a lot quicker.

After a week and a half of craziness, things are sorted now and we are back on top of things.

Jason

I think we may need to cut Greenline a bit of slack. They are obviously one of the best companies out there selling quality Japanese parts. I have personally bought over $10,000 worth of stuff through Greenline, and even though you may have to wait a little bit longer sometimes, the prices and quality of service make up for it 10 fold. With Simon injured last week, it will keep Jason and the rest of the Greenline guys on their toes, but I think we should support Greenline, and go ahead and order the parts we require.

How many other international companies, based in Japan can we talk about, and actually say we know the names of people we are ordering from ? (Simon and Jason)

How many other Japanese companies have an Australian Agent ?

How many other Japanese companies actually take the time to read what we think here on the forums, and reply to our messages, and tell us the truth about our order when something happens ?

How many other Japanese companies have prices as good as Greenlines ? (and have an english website)

I have decided to support Greenline, all the way.

They only started up about 4 months ago, and are doing a great job.

Thats my 2 cents worth.

    • HELP   Hey all, Is there an accelerator cable from another Nissan that can be used on the R33 GTST RB25DET with a Greddy forward facing plenum?  Thanks in advance  Rob

    • Had my rig on Matt's dyno at PITS the other day. After a few years between tunes I added a few sensors and swapped intercoolers. Result. 553hp at 26psi. Not bad for an FJ20 that was built in 2007. The problem.. It filled the overflow bottle on hard runs which leads me to believe the head gasket isn't sealing. I have a coolant pressure sensor which was reading cap pressure at 22psi and occasionally overrunning to 23/24 psi on deceleration after a pull. It was not spiking. It has arp2000 head studs and a cometic gasket. As its been 18 years in service, I pulled the engine out and head off. Everything looks good but we obviously have an issue. Where I'm at.. Years ago I had the same issue, I checked the stud tension and they were all over the place. Some at 60 to 70 and some up near 90. I nipped them all to 100ft lbs and this stopped the water push until now. I believe this compromised the gasket back then. What do I do? 2 options are..  1) I bought arp 625+s, which I could put in with a new gasket. Thinking Kameari this time, reassemble and try again. 2) strip the block, get fire rings machined in with copper gasket and try that. I do not want to push it more than 28 to 30psi. I think the turbo will be out by then anyway. (G30-770). My other concern is the long term ability of a copper head gasket. Are they streetable for years? I feel like a new gasket with the new studs will probably suffice, but I don't know. Any thoughts welcome and advice on copper gaskets and fire rings. Thanks!
    • I'm a fan of the JZX110, and the Aristo. Big cruiser cars, and with the factory cars, super comfortable and feel like you're driving an armchair! And the JZ motors are a pretty nice engine too, especially with some basic mods.   The import process, and the need to be able to trust people, and the fact there's so many scammers around is what ever puts me off wanting to go through that ordeal!
