All right, i have a series one rb25det with a timing issue i cannot figure out-looking for help. This problem only happens under load, from 5800-6300 rpm. With a nissan consult diag computer connected i can watch the computer go from 33-40 degrees btdc ignition timing to 0 degrees at 5800 rpm, and the motor runs like shit, then after stumbling up to 6300 it gets all the timing back (33-40 degrees) and pulls hard to 7000. Now i was also able to monitor all the other sensors and they are all reading properly and in spec in that range. I have also just recently taken care of the coil misfires i was having so i know that that is not the cause, plus fuel trim in that range does not reflect any sort of ignition misfire-it just pulls all the timing out and runs like shit till 6300 then pulls hard. Now i know that knock is usually the cause for an ecm to pull timing out, but i cannot monitor knock on any of diagnostic computers i have available to me (including the nissan consult). Please if anyone has any idea or has heard of this let me know! Oh and by the way, the motor is mostly stock, just 3" full exhaust with no cat, fmic, and 10 psi boost. -Thanks
