You had a guard blow off chris? wtf?

When liz realizes thats it's a 1 dollar part that let go she's going to be pissed....

I thought in group 3 there were few too many cars, got held up a bit!

I actually dropped to group 4 after the first session as there were 3 mobile road blocks in that group that were stuffing it up for everyone else. black integra, old bmw and a wrx. They each had enough go up the straight to make it a mission to get past. I actually did the right thing, i cruised the main straight and let them get ahead, nailed it at the start/finish and i had caught up by the top of the hill ffs.

Group 4 was great, slower cars, but generally more experienced/courteous guys (not heroes) who didn't mind waving you past. I got about 1 lap in 3 without traffic so was happy enough.

Don't be afraid to ask to change groups. I would have snapped if i was in 3 all day.

Me being in group 3 gave me quite the ego boost ha ha ha, had a few cars in front of my and i think i was over taking a lot of them in one session. in the last session, had wrx and the rx7 battling it out in the front and I could see myself getting closer and closer with every lap.....that felt good.

There were some nice moments today - chubbs over taking the bmw on the outside, bhdave (or your friend) overtaking the integra at turn two on the inside and I over took a yellow S15 on the inside at turn 10.....:D :D :P

Dave,

yeah I kinda wish I did now hey!

They tool in the integra type R would not let me pass. James just got by him, but he wouldnt elt me pass until the main straight again, I was all over him I was just a bit scared to go under brakes as, well, its just a fun day. by the time I got past him, wasnt too long before I reeled you in James lol Yeah that BMW, the 2 rx7's, the v tec's yo were the road blocks! :D

I did the same also Dave, came into pits, let em go.

I

Michele!

Great shots!!

    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
