Hks Fuel Pump

hey guys

ive post this thread in forced induction but no1 has replied so im guessing no1 has used 1....

i can get 1 in box brand new for 40 bucks, i havent seen it so i dont know its model. but its good for 350hp+.

any1 used a hks fuel pump b4???

my mate works at cashies and sime dude brought it in and he gave him like 2 bucks for it lol. he said it is an actual fuel pump. but i spose a closer look would help. do hks actually do fuel pumps?

haven't ever heard of one. Nismo fuel pumps retail for over $400 - so doesn't sound like even a moron would let one go to trash collectors for $2.

HKS make fuel pumps. Most are rated between 250l/h and 280l/h

rebranded bosch pumps though. You dont know it's history, it may well be Mcbollocksed...

Go Buy New Bosch 040 for $180 - $220, and be done with it. Peace of mind that there's a fresh pump in there.

hey R31 drift pig....are the bosch 040's in tank pumps by that i mean you dont have to make any brackets or anything like that for it...and it would just replace the stock one.....also are the 044's in tank pumps mate....i am thinking of getting one for my r33 and just need some guidence....

Walbro - Intank and requires no mods. - $160 or so brand new

Bosch 040 - Intank and *may* require some slight mods to fit in the cradle (Put a couple in S13's and they needed a few cradle mods to go in, Havent done a 32/33/34 skyline) - $180 - $220 brand new

Bosch 044 - External pump, 600HP rated, Will need bracket to mount pump - $220 - $250 brand new.

Best options are walbro (But make sure it's a genuine one) or a Bosch 040.

Ill be switching from my walbro to an 044, As Ill be running a 2.5 ltr surge tank, and need an external pump after a surge tank.

well the story goes he brought in a whole bunch of brand new shit, still in box etc. obviously stolen, so im guessing the dude jusst wanted to get rid of it straight away. plus if he was a junkie i dont rekon he'd know how much a fuel pump would be :S when its ready for sale ill go look at it.

the 34 gtr pump will be plenty for what you want joel. since 34's are making 230-50 at the wheels stock, hook me a pm with what other bits this guy brought in2 cashies
