Another blow engine

Well well well

I have joined the elite club of those who have done stupid shit and blow their engines.... In my case i lost control over my right foot and over boosted the car and cyl 6's rings popped.... This is only 3 days after i replaced the head gasket and 2 injectors and a grand worth of other stuff.....

So thanks to all the performance shops on the north side of Brisbane that didnt want to help me solve the boost problem as it is not a problem anymore....

Anyway im cutting my losses... Im gonna sell the bits off my old RB20det... Like the injectors 4 were re capped and 2 are new. The head just got acid dipped and new valve springs installed. Cams were re ground and polished the intake was ported. New gaskets all of the place... New belts... New bearings in the front of the motor. New welsh plugs for the block.... Im gonna sell everything off the motor except the rings as they are stuffed.....

Im gonna get Tokyo Toys to install a new R32 Rb20det engine as i have lost all intrest in this car now..... I have spent every waking moment for the last 4 weeks (apart for when im at work) fixing this thing and to no reward....

Sorry to hear it - why was the car over boosting, broken wastegate?

Also, why wasn't anyone interested in helping you out, they didn't want your business?
