*** April Group Buy Special on QFM High Performance Brake Pads ***

GSL RallySport stocks the complete range of QFM High Performance Brake Pads, and for the month of April is having a group buy special!

We've got 10 sets to group buy off only! DB1170 (Front) and DB1220 (Rear), suit R32 GTS-T, R32 GTR, R33 GTS, R34 GTT. Fit anything with the standard 'Nissan' 4 pot/2 pot front and rear brakes. Does not suit Brembo. Brembo QFM pads are available off the shelf but aren't part of this group buy. PM for details.

- 7 sets of front and rear QFM HPX. $75 + $37.50 + $12.50 shipping = $125 delivered!

- 3 sets of front and rear QFM A1RM. $110 + $55 + $12.50 shipping = $177.20 delivered!

QFM's Performance Street pads fall into two compounds. The first is the HPX pad which is an excellent choice for street cars looking for excellent braking performance whilst retaining all the qualities of a good street pad. The HPX pads are ideal for high performance street cars looking for higher working temperatures with reduced fade, and also for Four Wheel Drives or vehicles looking to enhance their towing capacity or safety. The HPX pads unlike many pads in this performance range are virtually dust free, whilst maintaining low rotor wear.

QFM's second high performance street pad is the A1RM compound and provides QFM with its club sport track pad. It is ideal for high performance street cars that take to the track to test the limits, whilst still being a streetable pad. The A1RM is ideal for club level rally and hill climb where brakes are required right from the first corner!

Im interested in the QFM A1RM's mate (I saw your reply in the braking section of the forums) how is payment made?

Easiest way is just to PM me your details, name, delivery address (preferably business) and email and I can fire you through an invoice with direct deposit details etc. or else I can also do credit card over the phone.

Although still thinking between these and the lucas pads...

The Lucas are a very good pad and what we run in the rally car until last year, before moving up to the A1RM. The A1RM are definately a better pad as they're a dedicated performance pad, whereas the Lucas is just a very high volume selling pad designed for European cars that have high brake standards. But that said sometimes it comes down to dollars, and the Lucas are probably slightly cheaper for your particular car.

will the street ones fit a gts4??

Hi mate,

I'm pretty sure all the turbo cars have the same brakes if they're not the Brembo's. Have a look, your front pads should be DB1170:

and the rears should be DB1220:

If not, we can get them, there'll just be wait for manufacture, but should be those.

Regards,

Greg

PM sent! :)

Thanks guys! Unfortunately that's all of them gone! I was going to try and squeeze in a couple more, but unfortunately QFM are out of stock of the rear backing plates! I'll post up another group buy offer when we get some more stock of the rears (maybe a combo with racing brake fluid this time or something similar). If anyone was just chasing fronts, I have still got 4 sets of the HPX, but that's all I've got left!

Regards,

Greg

Let me know if you do another run of the A1RM's at these prices as I'll be in...

Hi mate,

Definitely when we get some more stock I'll throw another thread up, or edit this one!

Sorry about the inconvenience.

Regards,

Greg

    • I wasn’t able to replicate the sound anymore. It was a one time sound so maybe it was just coincidence but it was like small pebbles being dropped in a coke can.   should I try cleaning the MAF? It could be it’s functioning but dirty? I don’t know.
    • Update 4: Hi all. The car drives again! Haven't driven for long, only to store it in the garage again, but the test drive was successful. The coolant and oil leaks seem to be fixed for now. Temps on the engine were also very good, while moving I never even saw 80C water during the approx. 30 minute drive. Ate up all the coolant in the reservoir though so will have to fill that even more when I go to the car next time. One thing that pisses me off is that the RPM gauge is still f**ked, I even resoldered the board twice and used copper paste on the silly screws that are used as connections. Next time I take it out I'll take apart the board and fit new components, I'll see if I can get a replacement IC for it.  I have an appointment set for 22nd of September for the engine tune to 370hp. Alignment also still needs to be done. My hope is that I can get all the legal stuff over with by the end of this season. Anyone of you have advice regarding intercoolers? Currently there is an APEXI core fitted, one of those weird hybrid ones, 600x270x76. I don't think it's bad but it's not new and now I still have the chance to change it now to legally include it in the paperwork. Only issue is that the only options that would arrive in time are a HKS Type R intercooler or generic Ebay spec intercoolers comparable to a JustJap one. Ideally I'd order a Plazmaman but it takes over a month to receive which would mean making the car legal has to wait until next season. Would love to hear some input on this. Same story for my injectors, the previous owner was a nunce and put ID 1050x on the engine. They work but are obviously not ideal at "normal" power levels. But I don't see a reason to change them unless the tuner says it's necessary. I read online before buying a different exhaust that the top secret style rear diffusers won't fit due to the size of the rear resonators. My buddy and I made it work by slightly "adjusting the shape" of the mounting bracket and making some spacers out of 3d print for the mounting bolts. Fits like a charm. Just putting this here in case someone has this problem. Even the hefty HKS Silent Hi Power rear can fits without hitting anything.
