Jamezilla your PM in full so i'll wack my questions in here please pm me

Hi James

The Vic guys said your the man to talk to. The WA ladz are going to enter the Western Saloon in October and we would like to pick your brain for ideas o how you guys setup for MAS.

We have been alotted space for 6 cars inside, and unlimited space outside. We intend to have a race/garage theme along with SAU. We have heaps of track and driver training and drag day footage of our guys which will be showing either on TV's or a projector screen, and we loved your guys PS2 idea so we are going to do that to.

Stickers, we have source that provides very cheap so there not a problem. We also loved the Blue shirts you guys wore, most WA clubs have black tops so if you could hook us up with a source of the shirts that would be sweet.

I believe you are also the owner of that R34 banner? If possible we would like to borrow it for the show (we will pay freight to and from perth) if thats possible, but we totally understand if you are against the idea.

So basically any other ideas or tips you have that could help us would be greatly appreciated.

Troy

    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.

    • The annoying part about neglect, is when you start to replace one thing, and find ten more broken things. Ham fisted monkey repairs you normally only find out about when trying to do something unrelated! Ha ha   Neglect you can kind of anticipate the huge costs to fix it all. Ham fistedness is normally a shock the first time your work on a new old car, as everything "looked" good before.

    • Sorry, just assumed that talk of coloured pads meant EBC red/green/yellow/shit stuff. I don't know the DBA pads, but it's a reasonable bet that they will be OK. DBA make good stuff generally. Those 4000 series rotors I linked to are very good. I may well replace the RDA rotors I have with those when required.
