so i've found out a couple of the bolts on the front calipers are a bit shitty, i would like to replace them with new ones

where would people suggest i look? (in brisbane)

i've just spent the last half an hour ringing around in a vain attempt to find somewhere i might be able to just tell them the car and they would have the part i want haha (as i'm in the office right now and looking for this stuff on weekends is useless)

i'm guessing it's probably something i would need to take somewhere and get it matched up

anyone got any sure fire places ?

thanks

The bolts you're talking about, are they the ones which hold the calipers in place or something else?

If they're the ones you're talking about, why do you want to replace them for? Sorry if that's a newbie question. :(

I had to buy a pair of bolts for my ke70's calipers (it went missing) and the closest I could get to the right bolt was through Bunnings. They were still too long, but nothing a hacksaw couldn't solve.

just worn and old, and yeah the ones that hold the caliper on

yeah i'm thinking bunnings is going to be the way

forget hacksaws on high tensile bolts, thats what angle grinders are for

I doubt Bunnings will be the palce to source them. Personally i would try Hobsons or Coventry Fasteners and make sure they are high tensile, and i run allen head cap bolts as i find they made installation easier...but a normal bolt head will be cheaper and do the same thing

well they are just a bolt, so aslong as i can get the right thread i should be right and bunnings sells high tensile

all bolts/nuts sold in australia have to be made to ISO standards anyway so where you get them is not really an issue
