it used to be everytime i go to a shell / bp / caltex on a tuesday they are out of most types of petrol. now it seems that it occurs on any day.

is this happening all over the country?

i read somewhere on the net that 2008 would be the year in which oil demand is greater than oil production. i wonder if its happened and thats why its getting harder to get petrol.

where will it end? if its hard to get 'cheap' petrol now, maybe in 5 years time it will be hard to get petro period?

or im just rambling :D

one of the petrol guys told me it was a refinery problem. said they had a bad batch and had to cancel fuel sales. but when it kept happenin every week the same petrol station worker just shrugged his shoulders

i can't find the other thread :D

yes its really starting to P me off big time too....I cant remember the last time I even seen 98 on sale.As for the other pumps most of the time they are out of order too....maybe have a couple standard unleaded pumps going ...just not good enough..we are paying big dollar for this crap, I expect better.Half the time i cant even get E10 let alone premium 95....I dont know what the other states are experiencing but I hope its not as bad as we got it

I don't even bother going to Shell anymore, they never seem to have V Power available.

I go to the Caltex and they always have 98 available.

Same with BP... the pricks..

its annoying when ur on E and u have to drive from one BP to the next.. and they arnt close.. and they all dont ahve the right petrol

I rather fill up on sundays now...
