i imported the car privately and took delivery of it mid-december...

purposely imported it near stock for the possibility of any future plans...

uni ended up being more expensive than i expected and with jana getting pregnant we had to advertise the car a bit heavier to fund for baby but unfortunately her cramps and pains ended up in a miscarriage but it was kind of okay because we were still fairly early into the pregnancy...

so i ended up not having to be as desperate as i initially was, i've had a few offers on the car since but they are all a few thousand dollars less than how much i'd let the car go for...

plans are as follows;

GT30 turbo

FMIC

Bosch 044

Injectors

Power FC

EBC - won't use MBC anymore because i will be getting workshop to do the work

BOV

i think that's it for now, had a few workshops get back to me... waiting on all their replies to see which one would be more 'bang for your buck' then i'll be visiting the bank

also cosmetically the plans are as followed;

CF bonnet (vented)

CF boot

CF GT-Wing

new bodykit of some sort

possibly new wheels (typical black 18'' with polished lip) - should have bought myself some before i bought a set for my girlfriend *shakes head*

Aero Mirrors

that's it for now...

i think then and maybe only then will i be 100% satisfied with my R34 but realistically the cosmetic side of it satisfies me to an extent, i really do desire more power and response though i really do

feel free to comment, would love to hear your opinions positive or negative, all welcome...

thanks

P.S: don't think i've forgotten about jana through this whole ordeal, we're organising to go skiing at perisher / thredbo and see a few eastern state cities while on my 7 week uni break and at the end of the year we're going to go for an asian pacific cruise (partially for her cousin's wedding)

we plan to travel every year as we went to singapore and phuket last year... great way to revitalise you're relationship :blink: though we had to find out the hard way :)

cheers, Andrew

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
