I saw that on PF....apparently it wasn't an actual accident

just went and found the thread :(

here's what someone posted:

It was a demonstration put together by the department of transport in some eastern european country, can't remember which one. The staged the accident with all the local youths and learner drivers in attendance to show the dangers of speeding.

After the accident was staged, they cleared up all the remaining debris and secured the wreck to the tree (using the ropes you can see in some of the photos) to serve as a constant reminder...

Actually i saw it on www.wreckedexotics.com

Estonian Ford Escort (not a Cossie). 20 yr-old male driver doing 100mph in the wet hit a tree and was ejected from the car. Couple of broken bones (field in front of the car is full of long grass and it had been raining so the ground was nice and soft).

Other pics in bad wrecks on www.wreckedexotics.com

    • I'd ask the shop what they used and use that. Mixing coolants is sometimes OK, sometimes not, and you have know the details of each coolant to know whether it's a good idea or not.
    • Is it alright to top up with just another green coolant?

    • Will have a look at that. I cant see any leaks
    • Put another overflow bottle (ie, a 1.25 coke bottle or similar) under the overflow hose and see if it is being pushed out there or if it is disappearing into the engine.
