^^^ That Aristo was NOT me, maybe hmmmmm was the guy italian looking??

The reason i ask is i remember that tool at our Dyno Day in the Soarer had a mate in a Aristo, could have been this like minded person!!

hahaha quick to defend yourself there :P

nah prolly was one of those mediteranian looking folk from the dyno day, wouldnt be surprised if it was.

APR...no offence but what a joke.

Hillruns with cars spinning out on the freeway...drift battles at regency and doof doof shootouts with hektic burnouts at fullam maccas.... all in high performace VN's.

no thanks.

would rather stay home, keep my license, car and most of all reputation.

you took the words right out of my mouth.

Shane,

I must of got things wrong then. I wasnt there when this all happened, sorry if i have said anything to offend you. I was just advertising this cruise for a friend, trying to be a nice person, but something always goes wrong. Well im gonna go anyway and check this out, any stupidness ill prob leave too because ill be in my partners show car anyway. Just hope you guys are not getting this cruise confused with any of my cruises because people so far that have been on my cruises know i dont do anything stupid because i love to make cruises for people and have good ones. makes me happy when people tell me they enjoy my cruises. Sorry Shane but i didnt know they acted like that, my mistake.

Spinning out on the freeway.. 1. it was a mistake, stuff happens and you need to take notice things will happen like me on sunday and im lucky im still moving and the other people in their car coz theirs was a ride off.

 lol, what's a ride off? Is that the car they use after a bank hold up?

Seriously though, I think a few peeps are skeptical about some cruises that are organized by people they don't know very well and it doesn't really help when you posted on a different thread that your boyfriend chucked his car sideways at a major intersection just to avoid a red light camera.........for starters, if he was doing the right thing then that wouldn't have been necessary, and secondly, what if he lost it and crossed lanes into on coming traffic and killed an innocent driver?!

Just my 2 cents as to why some are a bit concerned because I don't know you but I'm sure you're a cool chic.

all good kahli...

as i said im not having a crack at you, i havent personally been on one of the cruises you have organised but have heard high things about them!

from my personaly experience though, what i have seen with my own two eyes is that APR cruises are extremely...well what i said before.

You didnt offend me at all, hope you have a good time on the cruise tonight...just leave in the instance of any trouble and save yourself the hassle!

He must be a hektic drifter for sure!

obviously he is/was so hektic he couldnt make it to the track where real drift happens.

The cruise was alright expected more cars to turn out but ya know it wasnt my cruise lol so i didnt really care.. After Habour Town us imports went and did our own thing for a few hours then met back with the rest of the cruise at lofty.. only imports did the hill run, pretty fun though!! I got a really cool photo of us imports in a line but too tired to put it on the computer then on the net.. lol im lazy!!

i didnt have any probs with the cruize i was rolling infront of the crazy silva supra in the hillz and there was no "im faster than you" hero tailgaiting ive goten on other random cruizes ive been on. was given plenty of space much appreciated :D

although i only went on the after cruize thing so i dont know what was happening before that.

my only complaint was i think i seen some one sitting on my car while i was off looking at other cars, if that was someone on my car show some respect man wtf

was nice to meet ya kahli prob see ya out another time

I wonder who was sitting on your car.. they should of at least have some respect and ask or just dont sit on what ya cant afford lol Hey dan take it as a good thing because they prob liked your car and were pretending it was theirs hehe.

Should of done what leigh and i were doing today, parked the supra down at the bay then people were looking at it and touching it so we decided to hide around the corner and press the alarm button everytime someone went near it lol it was so funny because people would jump and run away acting like they havent done anything lol haha....

If I saw someone sitting on my car, I wouldn't continue walking and 'think' someone was on my car. I'd go and approach them and not-so-politely ask them to get off my car.

Sorry, I hate disrespectful people. :ermm:

Caught a few teens/guys from time to time sitting on my bike, or my mates bikes, and you get no second chance when you sit on a bloke's bike. They usually get bailed up against a wall and scared shitless. They usually don't sit on another bike again! :)

Same applies with our cars. If you value your life as much as I value my car/bike, don't f**k with it!

;)

    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
    • I wanted to try and preserve the front bumper as long as possible, they're not cheap and are made to order in Japan. Taking inspiration from my previous K11 Micra build where I made an undertray for the Impul bumper, I did the same for this BN Sports bumper but a little slimmed down.  This time round I only made a 'skid plate' (if that's the correct wording/term) for just the bumper surface area, the Micra version covered the gap like an undertray. Starting off with a sheet of mild steel approx. 0.9mm thick 4ft x 2ft in size. I traced around the bumper, cut it out and cleaned the edges. Luckily I was able to get two halves from one piece of metal In the video I installed it as is, but I've since then I've removed it to spray and add a rubber edging trim. The rubber trim is suitable for 1-2mm and it's a really nice tight fit. The bolts had to be loosened due to the plates being too tight against the bumper, the trim wouldn't push on I used some stainless M6 flat headed bolts for a flusher finish (rather than hex heads poking down), I believe this style fastener is used for furniture too incase you struggle to source some. The corner's are a little wider, but this may be an advantage incase I get close to bumping it  The front grill got some attention, finally getting round to repairing it. Upon removal one fixing pulled itself out of the plastic frame, one side is M8 that fixes inside of the frame, where as the other side is M5. Not knowing I could get replacements, I cut down an M8 bolt, threaded it inside the frame along with a decent amount of JB Weld.  The mesh was replaced to match the bumper. One hole on the bonnet/hood had to be drilled out to 8mm to accommodate the new stud, once the glue had set it could be refitted. I think the reason the grill was double meshed was to hide the horn/bonnet latch (which makes sense) but I much prefer it matching the bumper Bumper refitted and it's looking much better IMO The Youtube video can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVZP35io9MA
