Door Key Barrel

Just thought id let off some steam at those damn bastards who tried to break in to my car parked at Crown last night. They total f**cked my door handle and ripped out the key barrel to the drivers side door. except the stupid idiots couldnt get in still! pathetic..

So now i need 3 barrels one for each door and one for the ignition.. or i can keep that key and have two keys.. one to start the car and a different one for the doors..

My question is. Has anyone fitted barrels? and is there a diy on this?

a locksmith can easily key all barrels the same, only 1 key

so if get one new barrel for my driver side door, and go to a locksmith with my old key and tell him to recode the barrel to the original key can this be done? im assuming it is cheaper?

Yeah they can do it. i get it done for about $25 per barrel

or you can put some fibreglass filler where the handles used to be, get electric door poppers and confuse the hell out of them lmao. if you get a mongoose alarm they are very good and go off before anybody can get in.
