shannons are idiots, i had a person hit me on the side and the accident wasnt my fault at all and they want me to get a driving history, when everytime i get a fine or what ever i ring the person at shannons of which i have been dealing with for the past 5 years and let him know.

so repairs wont comence until i do that, which i crap when i wasnt my fault the guy turned in to me on a straight piece of road the police even stated that also motor reg is open 8:30-4pm and i work 8:30-5pm and Steve will vouch i dont really get a lunch break ever so i cant go down there and anyway it costs money.

Anyway i have spoken to a few ppl in the industrie and they even cant understand why im being treated like this

so thats why im going through the company that hit me

If i could use race tape to fix it i would luke lol

the way i got mine done fast is u just keep calling them, there will be an adelaide branch of ur insurance company just call them every single day and ask if its moved forwood a step.. i did this with both my write offs, the 1st 2 weeks or so are slow coz they get shitty with u, but after that they just get over it and hurry up :P as for the petrol situation... b less boost happy haha i duno!

mine is shannons full comp and 115.00 pr month idiots

his i dont know they wont tell me i have to wait until tuesday if i havent heard from the assessor to call back

I'm sure they're obligated to inform you details of their insurer. :P

yeah i'd be going after him a million miles an hour. If he's admitted liability, then pester him daily for either payment or his ins company's details.

A formal letter to him giving him 7 days to respond with his intentions would've been the way to go....if you don't get anywhere with him and you still want to go with a letter, you might be able to use my companies letterhead. Official letters tend to speak louder than personal ones.

Alternatively, depending on the exact details of the accident, I'm happy to give him a ring for you and see if I have better luck. Unfortunately he probably sees you as someone he can stuff around and draw the whole process out.......people like that annoy me. If he is not accepting liability, that may explain his lack of cooperation.

    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
    • Harness is for a s1 Rb25det, and it is engine and lower harness.  the old harness had broken off plugs and was in very rough condition/exposed wires and splices etc. it is not able to be put back on the car, I could visually inspect to see if they had rewired any pins on the ecu plug. The fuel pump definitly isn’t turning off it’s an external pump and very loud you can hear it. Will look at the other harness tonight, am also going to pull the fuel rail and watch the injectors spray, will update here with what I find. Pretty sure at this point it has to be something to do with injectors because car will fire up on starting fluid and cas is clicking the Injectors. Fuel pressure is steady 43psi
    • Check the injectors flow evenly, and are actually flowing what you and the ECU think they should be flowing. If it's starting up on starter fluid, you have a fuel issue. Is it possible under cranking your fuel pump is turning off?   The harness you replaced, is that the whole engine harness? Do yourself a test, and drop the old harness on and plug it into the Z32 ECU. It's possible they've wired things different. From memory S1 to S2 is different in RB25 and you may have a wrong loom
    • I haven’t pulled the injectors to watch them spray yet but they are clicking from the cas and all of the spark plugs are wet with fuel. I’ve thought the cylinders were being flooded from the beginning and was hoping fuel pressure would fix it. Tonight I am going to pull the rail and watch the injectors spray. Don’t know how to test/diagnose if the plugs are firing in correct sequence but that should be a timing thing and as far as timing goes my car still has the half moon for the cas can only install it 1 way. And my mechanical timing is 100% correct I posted photos above. Confirmed with the balancer on and off.
