Good work Andrew, great night with some nice people. I am so amazed that most of you guys finished your steaks!!! That was nuts. Hope you all got home easily and safe

oh yeah..there was a police cordon at the Freo CPP for some reasons which they did not want to reveal so if any of you do hear in the news about something happening at Freo CPP parking do let us all know! thanks!

I don't think I'll be getting out of bed for.... Umm... Three days maybe...

God I'm sooo fcking full..... OOoohhhh dear...

My stomach right now wants to jump out and beat me half to death!

I've punished it... Badly...

Once again...

SO close...

Yet SO fail!

Andrew, fantastic night man! We should do it more often! Good luck exams everyone

Good to meet a few more people, and catch up with old mates.

Andrew, what did you do man? You didnt crash your car again, did you??

Hey Dan. SAU wont work on my laptop, but it will on my parents computer. I'm sending you a PM now, but I'm kinda pissed!!

GUYS! i'm so glad you all enjoyed it...

very please with how the dinner went, i must apologise for the cruise itself being one minus a map :(

next time i promise i will write up a map and actually do a practice run bahaha

food was alright, glad i took on the challenge though hahaha and i'm very thankful for those who attended, we basically filled up all the reservations anyway!

also disappointed we got split up a lot on the way there and back but you get that you know?

okay, i was pulling out of the parking spot, mirrors were folded in, on folding them out i didn't see how close i was to the actual pillar (massive stationary pole thing holding up my side of the level in the carpark) anyway, i moved further forward and just hear mass scraping on the side...

get out of the car and on the right hand side rear quarter panel is just yellow strips and dents all over...

going to see panel beater tomorrow (yes i called him and for some reason he's working tomorrow) i've also decided that now this has happened i am obliged to a whole new kit and bonnet with paint...

don't worry, i'm not cashed up... just in bulk debt, has to be done though doesn't it?

if you want i can mms pictures, besides that... i am very sad and lonely and feel very empty and this isn't something i want to have on my mind before exams but you get that...

see how it goes and will keep you guys posted, cheers for coming out tonight everyone... can't wait until the next time we hang out again!

even though there were quite a few of us i'm glad i got to meet everyone and that everybody got along... cheers!

Andrew

hey aparently our table was short of 80 bux or something ? was it ian that collected the money and paid for dinner ??? my half KG was

around 30 bux and i added another 5 for my drink ... just dont want him to bare the cost ... anyone forget to pay ??

Iain and Kelly did speak to me about it... your table was $80 short...

i have no idea who didn't pay...

there were at least ten of you so umm... maybe $8 each extra but now it would be super hard to fix this all up, but then again, this isn't Iain's fault and there was no reason or right to have this bare on him, umm... i'll try to have a word with him, it's a bit late now but everyone that ate at that table, affirmative that the bill came to $80 short of the amount Iain was actually given

something to think about guys, i feel really sorry for him for having to pay that, also... when he came outside looking for everyone we had already left...

we are horrible, horrible people

hmm..was there GST and service charge or something? mine was about $43 but i gave $50 just in case there was extra charge on top of that..but i think most probably is somebody forgot to pay as $80 is quite abit..

Good dinner tonight~~

Dam that 1kg,... too much =/

Sorry to hear about your car andrew... shouldnt cost to much to fix it up bro.

Yea.. i didnt see anyone on the way to freo? where were u guys!!! the first skyline i saw was fire angels 34 behind me in the freo cpp.

THe cruise afterwards with Szeto was pretty good. i attended the first leg... but too many fast cars + too much temptation = bad for dbl deremit point weekend!!

See you guys again soon~~

I gave $70 just for my 1kg steak meal and kelly paid for the wine. there should have been extra left over :(

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
