Sold as F50 Cima's in Japan which is the model we import here, I have one and a mate does over here in Perth.

SEVS Approval

I think he may be referring to the G50 which was sold in Japan as a Q45 as well as in North America... they ran from 1989 or so up until about 2003 (as the President), I believe they are the longest running car Nissan ever made, fact fans!

A couple of G50 Q45's came in under the 15 year old rule (I used to own one) but that has now ended, although they are probably eligible under SEVS I can't see any compliance workshop ever getting the evidence for them, so you're going to have to find one that's here already if you want one. Nissan Australia actually sold them here in 1993 or 1994 and brought 100 over, they cost well into the six figure price mark and were an abysmal failure, most of them were given to Nissan execs as company cars as Nissan just couldn't sell the damn things. If you're ok with the styling I think they are very nice cars, the VH45 V8 is a SWEET engine, even hauling nearly 2 tons of metal at 100kph mine pulled REALLY hard.

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
